Unfortunately, I will have to have a revision in 6 months (well 5 now) due to the lack of elasticity in my skin. I have lost and gained over 100 pounds 3 or 4 times in my life and the stretching and shrinking of my skin have caused me to have skin integrity issues. The back of my legs dropped within a week of being pulled up and tight.
My surgeon wants me to wait the full 6 months so my legs will drop as much as possible. He said he will take off as much if not more as hi did this time but man I am not looking forward to it.
So, I wish I could say at this point that I think this was worth it, but honestly, at this moment, I don't. I posted my one-month pictures and while you can see some improvement it's not dramatic or life-changing for the amount of money and time I've invested.
Starting back on cardio this week and then weights in a few more weeks. Feeling very fat and out of shape at the moment! HAHA.

Just an update with pictures and a meh kind of blurb about a revision.

The front of my legs look better and the sides do too, but the inner thigh(s) does not look much different to me. It’s early in the process so I’m going to give it time before get too bent out of shape. I am glad my surgeon has already confirmed that I will need a revision so that I can come to grips with that fact and not feel crazy or like a perfectionist.

Looks very painful, is it?

Actually I didn’t find it painful at all compared to my boobs or tummy. I was prepared for HORRIBLE pain but it was only about a 4-6 on the pain scale at its worst.

Hi thanks for posting I absolutely agree with ou about the inner thigh towards back looking kind of the same is this why revision is necessary or did he why that excess flesh wasn’t removed first go? What’s the fix for it and will it require a further incision it so where please? Thank you for taking the time to reply

Yes, unfortunately that’s why. He removed quite a bit and for the first week or so they looked ok (nothing looks good right after surgery) but then the back feel pretty quickly after that. My thighs are very heavy so between the weight and the skin not having and elasticity left, the tacking that he did just did not hold. As far as he incision goes, I’m not really sure at is time. Due to my work schedule i won’t do my revision until probably November and will def post some updates then!
