After giving birth in 2011 and breastfeeding for 11 months, my 34b jumped to a 36c then as fast as they came, they left. Now a sad, deflated 34a I was ready for boobs again. After 2 consultations oops I got pregnant again and have since finished breastfeeding again and these puppies are the saddest little A's you've ever seen. Luckily, I had chosen the doctor prior to becoming pregnant the second time and am scheduled for surgery on 2/17/17. Like I said, now a deflated A from being a B (C when breastfeeding) and am leaning toward 330/370cc transaxillary. My right is much smaller than my let so I'm hoping to even them out with the different cc's. Will post pics soon.

So I saw my doctor yesterday to go over incision and sizing. I have a pretty substantial asymmetry in each breast, basically my left is a cup size larger than my right and sits lower. I wanted the transaxillary incision but she basically said that the best way to address the symmetry is to go through the crease and manipulate the pocket more toward the bottom. I totally agree now because with one being lower, she can work her magic to try and get them as even as possible.
Now to the size, we used the 3D imaging with the Ideal Implant and the look of 405cc right and 370cc left looked amazing although it sounded very large for my frame. After coming home and researching heavily, I've emailed my doctor to see if we can go down a bit to 385cc right and 350cc left as I don't want them to be noticeably big but fuller. Still waiting to hear back but have about 4 weeks until the actual surgery. Very excited!

Choosing the right size is definitely a tough decision! So many options with CCs and profiles, etc. I thought my implant choice looked pretty small on the 3D imaging, but they were perfect when I tried on sizers.

I haven't tried sizers.

Hi! I'm 5'6 and 115lbs and getting Ideal implants on Feb 16. I picked out 330cc at my consult but I have pre-op next week to finalize my choice. I'm 32B and was thinking full C but in reading so many reviews I think I'll end up with 32D. I hope not larger than that. My BWD is 11cm. Do you know yours? Our stats and sizes are very similar. Good luck to you!

My right boob is 34a left is /4b I believe my BWD was 11.75 but will confirm tomorrow when I go in. I want a full C and if I end up a D will be kind of upset...hence why I'm going back to discuss cc's again tomorrow. 330 should get you to a full C maybe small D. What incision are you doing?

My doc out in Ashburn only does inframammary but that's what I wanted. He prefers it because he has full visual of the pocket and since I'm on the smaller side to begin with, I want to make sure those pockets are right to try to combat as many complications as possible.

That's really nice. Do you have photos of yours on this site? I'm going in at 1 today to talk sizing again. My dr is in McLean

No, I'm not comfortable posting even anonymous pics of myself on here. I've mainly been doing research about size. I decided mine so quickly and usually I'm very quick to know what I want but since this is a more permanent choice, I want to make sure I don't end up too big. You can always wear a push up bra but it's difficult to make breasts look smaller. I should add that I did a sort of "blind" sizing. The doc put a sizer in, I immediately felt it was too small, he put another in and I knew it was too big and asked for something in between. He had that one ready and put it in and I felt it was perfect. But he told me you don't lose volume going under the muscle like I've read on sooo many reviews and forum posts. All his work is very natural looking so I trust him and I like that he must have known I'd want a middle of the road size between what he was giving me. And I REALLY liked that he didn't tell me the cc volume of each as he gave it, I asked the volume after I selected the one that I felt looked best on me. I've read some reviews where women know the sizes up front and can't get over preconceived notions about what cc volume they NEED to have to feel it was worth their money. I think I would have also been swayed if I knew the volumes before trying on the sizer.

My doc explained that when implants are removed, they are removed inframammary.. so you will have multiple scars if you have them put in through another area. Just a thought :)

How did the sizing appt go today?
January 27, 2017
Omg I'm so glad I went. I tried on the Mentor style 20 which my dr said is very close to the Ideal profile. 400 was HUGE on me and that was her suggestion, and not to make her sound bad but she said that as of late, the average cc she's been requested to do has been at least 400cc. I'm not wanting to go that big but to make them fuller. Big but not BIG. I tried on variations from 230cc to 400cc and the 325cc on my left and 375cc on my right was what I'm looking for so that's what we're going with.
January 27, 2017
So you're sticking with the Ideal or switching to mentor (is that saline or silicone)? 400cc would probably be very large on a BWD under 12cm. I think it's good you're sticking to your own goals and not going by what everyone else in town is getting.
January 27, 2017
No I'm sticking with Ideal. She didn't have them in the office to play with but the mentor 20 were very similar in projection. Yeah 400 is extreme. 375 sounds big also for my right side but it is very small, small A.

I started a review (but I also changed my username). Just wanted to let you know, since you asked. I don't have any pics up but we'll see how confident I feel after the procedure!

I also won't be posting pics. I have a job where it's best to not have anything floating around like that. The Ideal she's using has a range that can be minimum filled and a max fill. I will before surgery reiterate that I want minimum fill despite what she thinks once doing it. I'd rather them be too small than too big.
