This was a long awaited procedure! I've researched fillers for several years and have feared the possibility of infection, lumps, and simply not liking the results. In addition to finding the right filler, I've also "interviewed" different providers over the years as well, some nurses, some surgeons, but after meeting with Dr. Ayala, I finally took the plunge. In my initial consultation we discussed my thin skin and concerns he had with treating the tear trough area, knowing that I was looking for the safest route he went forward with injecting Restylane Silk in my cheek area, camouflaging some of the eye bags. His nurses carefully cleaned my face with some sort of chloride solution, and numbed the area, there was a mild discomfort. It's been two days post injection and have yet to experience bruising, lumps, or swelling.
