Extra skin/scar revision needed?

I have a fold of skin in between the incision scar and the anchoring stitch. It’s not too visible until I bend over....second pic...then it looks fairly strange. I saw the dr in Jan and he said he just didn’t take out enough skin and if still unacceptable by fall I can have it fixed. I am deciding if I want to do and when and if I’d go with same dr. However if I’m wearing a top that goes just below this all looks fine. I’ve also noticed my lower tummy has more laxity than I thought previously. Perhaps now that top half is looking better or because I keep getting older. Right now it doesn’t bother me enough to do anything. Been hearing about a procedure called j plasma that may help with that. Just have to wait for it to become more prevalent.

Has your scar dropped significantly?

Nope. It has not really dropped. I think the anchoring stitch has helped in that regard. They are fairly well hidden except at sides and in centre.

Wow. I never heard of a reverse tummy tuck. Still pretty neat. No scars at the waist.must be nice with that.

I am going through this same thing- had a reverse Tt and still have a lot of loose skin above my belly button. To be honest it looks no different to me and now I have this ugly scar between my boobs. I hope it goes down significantly. I got a boob job too and now all I look at is the scar. Is the second picture you holding your skin up?

My dr also said he would try and get more but that just means reopening healed scars. I’m disappointed

Over year later....mostly happy

I wanted to add some additional pictures of my scars for anyone interested. I think they’ve healed quite well but in general I am a good healer. However I also have a strange complication that I haven’t seen before so I’ll post a pic of that as well.

Are the stitches under the scar palpable? They are permanent sutures right?
Thanks!!

Yep its permanent. Its not too noticeable...only when I bend over. And hardly feel it at all.
