Just wanted to start this review in case there is anyone else who has had this procedure to get their experience. I know it's not very common but after consulting with 4 different surgeons I think it's my best option. My appt is for April 18 and in the meantime I'm trying to build as much muscle mass as possible to account for not being able to do much for a while after. I'll add more details later.

Hello just wanted to wish you well ahead. I had this procedure done 05 April 2017. Just be disciplined with the rest and prepare for bloating discomfort as is with most post op. Good luck and always remind yourself as with most surgeries 10 days is always a turning point.

Thanks for well wishes! Getting nervous now that surgery is tomorrow but good to hear from others that have gone through it as it's not very common. I'll update review soon once out of hospital.

Hello again.
Really no need to be nervous at all. Be real about what you having done and make peace with yourself. This procedure is not that hectic. I have loads of experience!
I can add that your bloating and fluid retention is a challenge for the first week. Empower yourself with Google or on this site about post surgery CORRECT eating to aid swelling and wound recovery. Try consume a few meals in smoothies packed with 'superfoods'. Vitamin A D C and zinc. It really does work. I have lived through 9 procedures done the researched and practiced the good eating tactics and confident to say it all helps!
Do not rush sitting up all. Take your time to get through each day. I will be thinking of you till the next post.

Day after Tummy Tuck and Lipo

I was in the hospital at 8 am yesterday and discharged by 9pm, which I was happy about as since I was feeling pretty good it's easier to recover at home. I wasn't in much pain really and felt pretty good this morning. Just moving slow and carefully. I also didn't feel like I had to be too hunched over which was unexpected. I decided to walk a bit each hour and my have overdid it a bit since now I feel much more swollen so taking a little break. I didn't think I was going to get the muscle repair but he ended up doing which is ok by me. Might as well if necessary. He also tried to fill in my chest wrinkles which we didn't talk about previously but it has bothered me for a while so I'll be happy if that works. Definitely getting more swollen as day goes on but still trying to drink lots of water. So far everything is quite manageable with the exception of worrying that if I swell too much I might wreck the final result.

Thankd gor sharing ur experience. Im wondering if u can post a follow-up. Im specifically curious to know about the scars. Some ppl have talked about the scars moving lower than where they were initially. How r ur scars looking? Also would u mind pisting a picture? Lastly, where did u have this procedure done? Thank you!

Day 6 post tt - back to work

While day 2 and 3 were definitely rough it got much better from there and I'm already feeling quite 'normal'. Other than having to hunch over and be careful with my movements I could almost forget when sitting. I have a desk job so went back today and so far no problem at all. Same for the flight home yesterday...I feel a little stiff when first getting up but not too bad all in all. I quit taking my prescribed painkillers this morning since I had a headache and just took an Advil. That was at 6 and haven't needed a top up yet. Probably will still take something before bed as I'm a bad sleeper at the best of times but hoping to get off everything soon. That's not to say there isn't still a whole lot of swelling and I made the mistake of weighing myself this morning...but that will just be for a benchmark. Looking forward to the one month mark already where I can take off this one binder and start some cardio. Hoping much of the swelling will be gone by then too. We'll see.
Oh got it!! Thank you for the response.
