I had eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) by Dr. Dan...
I had eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) by Dr. Dan Landmann on December 11, 2015. Prior to Dr. Landmann’s consultation, I went to 5 different cosmetic surgeons. I found Dr. Landmann while googling specialist for the eyes. You SEE, I did not want to go to a doctor/plastic surgeon that did ALL different cosmetic procedures. I wanted a specialist because I felt more comfortable knowing he knew everything there is to know about the eyes. My consultation with Dr. Landmann was in July 2015. Due to prior commitments I could not have the surgery until December.
Dr. Landmann is a young doctor and that to some people might scare them away thinking he is too young or inexperienced. That was truly not the case with Dr. Landmann. To me, that was a plus. He explained every detail. He took his time with me and he showed me pictures on what to expect once my surgery was completed. The other older surgeons did not do that. They only showed me before and after pictures while Dr. Landmann showed me from day one to the end. I also liked that he was writing notes and examining ME. Not only did he make me feel confident, I was confident he was confident. He has a great bedside manner and that was one of the aspects I was looking for in selecting my surgeon.
Since so much time past from my first consultation, I wanted to come back to see him to reiterate our plan. We did and I scheduled my eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) with his professional staff. Yes, he happened to be a little more expensive but my eyes and health mattered more to me than a few extra bucks. To feel comfortable in the right hands, you cannot put a price on that.
I had surgery at the Vanguard Surgical Center downstairs from his office. The staff there was great and I felt very comfortable. Dr. Landmann came down and he was just as excited as I was that made me feel even more comfortable knowing I wasn’t just a patient and that he cared about ME. Surgery went well and I went home the same evening. ICE, ICE, ICE that was the key to recovering quickly. Dr. Landmann was right I didn’t really have pain just a little uncomfortable and to took some Tylenol if I had pain. Myself being a nervous person, I had a few questions about my bleeding and Dr. Landmann insured me that everything that I was feeling was normal and it was.
I LOVE MY NEW EYES and I am very happy I picked Dr. Dan Landmann as my cosmetic eye surgeon.
PS: I am also getting other procedures by him ie: Botox and fillers. I’ll keep you posted…..

I know the rating of stars is usually 5, which no doubt he is. But I’d fill up the page and give him many more.
