I have lived with ugly under eye bags for as long...
I have lived with ugly under eye bags for as long as I can remember. I tried everything to diminish them over the years, spent tons of money, and nothing worked. I finally decided I'd had enough. I had a bilateral lower blepharoplasty with an incision in the inside of my lower eyelid to remove fat. Discomfort was very minimal, mostly swelling and only some bruising. I am day 5 postop and I am already beaming with happiness! I couldn't be more pleased and they aren't even fully healed!

I'm about to do this exact procedure myself - researching doctors now! Do you have before and after pics? Any advice? I've been waiting to do this for YEARS. A little scared...?
It is a relatively simple procedure, some even do it out of their office I've heard but I did mine under anesthesia in OR. I don't have any before/after pics yet but if I post some I will let you know. Just make sure you consult with a board certified surgeon, very important. My doctor had a lot of pictures of patients so I could see his work which made me feel more confident. It wasn't painful, my eyes have just been more swollen than anything and a little bit sore sometimes. I am so glad I did it. It was definitely worth it. Good luck!!
Thank you SO MUCH. Yeah, I'm going to do it later this summer. I even have a friend who needs one too! It'll be nice to not look tired all the time anymore. Glad you've had such great results. Must feel great :)

You look fantastic!! I am in the same position as you and am considering surgery, so I really appreciate you sharing your story. Could you tell me how long after surgery before you could wear makeup? Or looked somewhat normal? I am trying to decide on the best timing in relation to work schedules. Thank you in advance!
