WORTH IT
I have wanted this surgery for years since i had my first son almost 6 years ago. My skin has sagged ever since my first c-section and those pesky love handles would never go away with exercise and dieting. I have struggled with depression and had moments of hating my body...i recently was getting better and just accepted ill never have a body sexy enough to feel confident in naked with my own husband. We ended up taking some leaps with our new home we just bought and we have the money now to cover the cost of the tummy tuck its now scheduled for sept 2 at 1130am. Im getting nervous now its about 1500 more then we talked about over the phone once i had the consult it was more money then the phone but i really think he and his team no alot about diabetes and what it does to the body and he really is going to monitor me and really set me as a very very important patient so ill deff get good control while im under which im very very nervous about. I also do daycare and hope i will even be able to return to my job. This insicion will be basically almost half way over to my love handle to the other side alot bigger then i expected. Any advice would really help me prepare for the surgery

2.5 years since TT type 1 diabetic
I am 2.5years out since my tummy tuck and liposuction. I LOVE my results and my life has changed so much since my surgeon did this for me. I knew i would have to come back to lipo the rest of my flanks because he wanted ot make sure i healed properly. which i did amazing with healing. I go back to him next week to discuss my options for liposuction as a BBL was always a goal of mine but due to financing im not sure its going to happen. I hate how i look from behind and love how i look from the front so im hoping to get match sides lol

Mostly, i love it!! I do feel like there is a little more scarring around belly button than i would have preferred and a bit more" full " looking on left side than right, but over all it is so much better then before and I have core strength again, which was a huge problem before!
Welcome to the community. Focus on getting plenty of rest and staying healthy before surgery. Do you have all of your post op help lined up? You will need some help for the first few days for sure.
