I could not possibly be more grateful to Mr Matti for the amazing results he achieved in the corrective rhinoplasty procedure he performed. 12 years ago I underwent a disastrous rhinoplasty procedure overseas. I ended up with a nose that not only disfigured my face but caused me all manner of breathing difficulties. 6 years ago I went to see a surgeon in London with a reputation for working on "difficult cases". After examining me he concluded my situation was too severe to be remedied. He advised that I would have to live with the results and that I should regard with great skepticism any surgeon who claimed that they could successfully undertake corrective surgery. In 2015 I decided to try again and saw yet another surgeon in London. Again I was advised that the original surgery had been so deficient that insufficient tissue had been left to perform any corrective procedure without exposing me to the risk that further surgery would cause a collapse of my nose. Again, I was left with little choice but to heed the advice and accept that nothing could be done. Some months later my sister had a rhinoplasty procedure undertaken by Mr Matti. The outcome was tremendously successful in what was quite a complicated case. I decided I would have one more go at gaining a resolution and went to see Mr Matti. Although I understood from researching his profile that he was a reconstructive surgeon who dealt with complex and difficult cases, in all honesty, I had every expectation that I would be told, yet again, there was no solution. My first consultation was brief but Mr Matti explained what my options were and concluded that he could help me. The risks were manageable. Naturally I was elated but having been told the opposite for many years, I was cautious. I met with him again for an in depth consultation and that meeting gave me the reassurance and confidence I needed to book myself in for the operation. As I write, it has been 6 months since the surgery. I am SO happy with the result and so grateful that I discovered such an immensely skilled surgeon who has transformed my life. He knew my case was very difficult but he was honest and straightforward and didn't just turn me away as others had. I understand why many surgeons prefer to deal with straightforward cases but I was fortunate to find someone who wanted to help and find a solution, complicated though it was. With all honesty I can say I never liked my appearance more than I do now. The procedure has transformed my face. My nose is now beautifully straight and proportionate and looks incredibly natural. An amazing outcome given how bad a state it had been in since the initial surgery 12 years ago He narrowed it slightly without making it look pinched and corrected the oddly flared nostrils I gained after my original surgery. He performed a number of other slight corrections that collectively have restored balance and symmetry to my face. I have a softer look with a nose that is no longer mis-shapen but beautifully proportionate. And for the first time in what seems like an age, I can actually breathe normally and naturally. It is no exaggeration to say that Mr Matti has given me back confidence in my appearance and in doing so has changed my life! It was an outcome that I had given up hope of ever achieving. By helping me achieve the 'impossible', I will forever be immensely grateful to Mr Matti. He is THE BEST! Thank you so much!
