It will be here before you know it!! Are you having a lower body lift? I was first going for the mommy makeover until I realized how much skin there was on the back side that would just give me panhandles and after discussion with my PS decided on the lower body lift in Jan 2015.. I will be following you journey please keep us posted.

Hey, we are set for Nov. 3rd if my results from my sleep apnea test comes back ok...if not we will have to go to the hospital and may delay the date which I will be so crushed. My mind is set to do it and I have scheduled work and family around this....fingers crossed. I am doing a lower body lift with liposuction and he is also removing a scar from a previous surgery....I figured if you gonna do it then do it all. He explained to me that he was giving me a car with the lower body lift but the liposuction is like getting a sunroof and hopefully corrected the scar will get me leather seats..lol...I will keep you updated....

I am 54 and go in for gastric bypass soon, and if all goes well in future I would like this. In my forties I lost all my weight and should have done it then!!! This is because after the loss I still felt embarrassed about my loose skin and it undermined my confidence I think. Anyway I am looking forward to seeing and hearing about your results. Hope you are feeling not to bad pain and soreness wise! Cheers Kerrie (HoolyDooly)

Well, my surgery date has been moved back till Nov. 11th due to the fact that my primary doctor wanted me to take a sleep apnea test and guess what....I have it according to the home test so I go Tues. To get it and will use it till surgery and will take it with me on the day of surgery to use. I was upset and disappointed on the reschedule but it possibly could save my life. I owe my primary a big thank you and I'm sorry because I didn't want to take a sleep study but someone knows better than me.

The week after surgery....,

Well, my surgery was on 11/11/2014 and I am thrilled to death with my results already. Dr. Victor Ferrari in Matthews NC did my procedure and what an awesome surgeon he is as well as his staff. I know many of you are also very happy with your surgeons and that is what makes the experience much better. I put complete trust in him because his expertise in his field is the reason I chose him in the first place. I did have a couple underlining issues when he got in there but corrected the problems right there and then. The recovery was much easier as I anticipated and I will say the best recommendations I received was about a recliner and will say it was much easier. I also recommend anyone thinking about having this done to read up about it so you will have an idea what to expect. Everyone heals different and I truly believe I have done so well is because first and foremost I follow every step my doctor told me no matter what I read about what other people were told by their doctors and I wanted it so bad my whole life. This was a dream I never thought would happen but it has and this gift is the best thing I could of done for myself. I am so grateful for everyone who was part of this journey and pray for all God's blessings on them all. I will show pictures later , I still have my drains in but I did return to work today 9 days after surgery. Good luck to you all....
