I cannot say enough about my experience with Dr. Cassileth and her entire staff. Unfortunately last year i was diagnosed with breast cancer. THANKFULLY i fell into the hands of Dr. Cassileth and her staff. I have been a model for over 20 years so the thought of a double mastectomy was shocking and scary. From beginning to end i received 5 star care from everyone at Cassileth. Dr. Cassileth is so smart and honest. She makes you feel at ease. And unlike other doctors that don’t even know this is an option i had one step straight to implant surgery. So i didn’t have to experience painful sizers and although it was an invasive surgery i was not in any pain and felt 1000 percent taken care of. The silver lining of the entire surgery was that my breasts actually look better than they did before which i did not think could be possible. I was very nervous to book the surgery but Sonya was so helpful and listened to all of my needs with compassion. After my surgery i stayed at Serenity for 3 nights. (I wanted to move in) -talk about top notch care and great food. I didn’t have to worry about a thing except resting. After the care center Carolee my nurse was always available for any questions i had. If you are experiencing the fear of a double mastectomy RUN don’t walk to Cassileth. I have recommended friends that need implant revisions and their results are just as beautiful. I recently did a fat transfer to my breasts, the second part of making my breasts look and feel even better and though i didn’t think it was possible my breasts look even better!!!!! Once again it was an amazing experience. I cannot speak more highly of a surgeon and team. I would be willing to speak to anyone that is unsure of Dr. Cassileth and a double mastectomy. I want to tell anyone that will listen that a surgery like this doesn’t have to be awful. It can be something that makes you feel even more beautiful than before you were diagnosed. Not many doctors can do that. I would never trust anyone else. Ever. I am so grateful for Dr.Cassileths honesty and wit. Run don’t walk here. If you live far away travel here. They are the best of the best.
