For as long as I can remember I always was self conscious of my arms.. No matter how small I was my arms just always looked big to my figure.. I was always that girl that wore sweaters and jackets and if it was hot out.. Before I got pregnant I was able Roget my arms down enough where I was ok with it but shortly after I became pregnant and was at a high risk pregnancy so hitting the gym was not an option for me.. I was able to maintain the shape even after gaining 50 pounds. After my son and was cleared I hit the gym hard and was able to loose weight and maintain. In 2014 I had a breast reduction and was in recovery for about 2 months... A few months latter I found out I was pregnant but unfortunately a few weeks finding out I lost it! I stop hitting the gym as much and just ate whatever I wanted so the weight went straight back to my arms. After New Years 2015 I decided to get back and started to change my diet and started heavy lifting.. I didn't see anything changing and noticed my shoulders got big. So now I was walking around with big shoulders and now big arms... I didn't stop and continue to go and just remain positive... In November of 2015 I talked to my doctor and thought maybe I had a thyroid problem.. All test came back fine.. He then put me on Wellbutrin and it made me loose 7 pounds in one month but I started to gain again... So I decided to increases my cardio and stop weights..: I then started to loose.. But again my arms never went down.. I didn't everything pull-ups push ups chanllenge ropes 2x a day.. So I decided that enough is enough and went for a consolation for smart lipo.. I was a good candidate for it because even tho I had loose biceps my skin around was firm so the doctor told me I would barely have loose skin... So I made my appt for July 5!

A little concerned
Well I'm about 12 days post from lipo in my arms... I still have pain when you touch certain areas and a burning sensation... Is this normal? I'm also concerned about one of my arms.. This arm was about an inch bigger before surgery and after surgery it still measured an inch bigger! It is very swollen hard and looks botched! I know it takes about 3 months for your final results but it just looks odd to me! If anyone has had this issue please leave me a comment as I'm in full panic mode! Of coarse with all these questions I have my surgeon is on vacation! Posted are some pics of my arm the top is about 3 days ago and the bottom is today!

Aré you still wearing your CG?
Also, Maybe lymphatic massages will help with the lumps and swelling.

Yes I am wearing it all the time because it actually feels better when it's in! Where would I go for that type of massage? A chiropractor?

I would call around the local massage therapists in your area and ask if they know how to do them or ask your PS if he can recommend anyone ?
Also, if you have someone to help you, they can learn how to do lymphatic massages on YouTube. I've read some of the girls have done that on here. ;)

I am considering this procedure, did you get Smart lipo? I live two hours away but would glady travel. How much time off from work did you need?

Yes! I had the smart lipo! I don't work in the summer months but as far as what the surgeon said its a two week recovery as to lifting but as far working wise that's not hard labor you can go back as fast as the following day!

If you download the app groupon you will see it in there as well! I've always had big arms and it never looked portion to my body! I'm glad I did it..

They do not look look smaller, and that is very cheap for arms. It is usually at least 4500.

Every surgeon is different with what they charge... I've seen people in many different states pay over $9000 just for arms..And it also goes on how much they take out... At least that's what she based it off... As of right now no they don't look smaller but measurements that have been taken and clothes that I use to wear are baggy now... Also with smart lipo it takes 3-6 months to fully recover and see your final results! As far as what I see as of today... I am very happy and think they look better then what they were before! So my 1600$ was well spent and that's all that matters is what I think! Thanks for your comment!

She might be an obstetrician, some of these doctors take a course in surgery, and start operating, and work in other fields.

Yes! Dr F is a GYN but is certified to do the procedure! She was actually the first person in the state that purchased the smart lipo machine! At first I was scheptical seeing she wasn't a surgeon but then read about doctors being in different fields and also doing this.. She also does a lot with skin care eyelash extensions Botox and does a procedure that's she labeled as a "mini tummy tuck" . My arms are still very swollen but are feeling better and go down every day and even though I am not at my final results ..if It was where I am at now for a final result I would be totally happy.. So it can only go down even more with time! Go and call I promise you won't be disappointed!
