5 days post op from removal of permanent sutures

healing well so far.. not much pain a bit sore but nothing like the original tummytuck..
incision isn't as big.. she didn't have to go the full tummytuck .. haven't seen the scar yet .. post op appt Thursday .. have 2 drains hoping those will be removed then. I pray that im not stuck like last time w drain 5 wks.. swelling I have ofcourse, but hoping tht too subsides faster then original surgery.. at the end of the day.. im here. im pleased w/my results and I honestly feel blessed..

removal of sutures from muscle repair tomorrow.

Well I am now 6 days shy of 8 mo post op and tomorrow I will be be going under again to have the permanent sutures from muscle repair removed.. about 2 mo ago I noticed puss in my belly button.. I called Dr and she notices that there was a small opening in my BB. she cleaned and tried to cauterize with silver nitrate. went back 2 wks later for follow up.. still same ol'.. she repeated the silver nitrate again .. went bk a month later and still open.. when this happens its usually the sutures infected and need to be removed.. so that is what will happen tomorrow.. she is going to open me up .. remove sutures and irrigate the area .. make sure all is good.. The muscle repair should be at good stage where the stiches aren't need anylonger .. scar tissue and healing should do the trick..She is also going to do a lil' revision on my incision since she has open me anyway.. .. Im somewhat worried but leaving it In the man upstairs hands.. May he bless my Drs hands tomorrow n my body so I may heal in timely fashion..
I pray the recovery goes a bit smother than original procedure and that the drains wont linger like they did the first time..
