FTM Top Surgery

WORTH IT$38,000
I don't have any before photos but before surgery I was roughly:

5'3"
190 lbs
45" bust
34" under bust
35" waist
White (relevant to scarring type, end scar results, etc.)
Did not bind for 3 years (Mostly due to COVID fears but I feel this helped)
4 years on Testosterone
Medium chest hair

So quite a lot of boob.

I started the process with a different doctor at OSU in July .... Come November they basically said no and I needed to use my FSA before End of Year. My out of pocket max for insurance was fully covered by my FSA.

Ueno's team heard me and found me a time it could be done right at End of Year. They got me in for a consult, and got all my presurgery checks scheduled and a surgery date on visit one. They worked with my insurance and it was a smooth process.

I had double incision with no nipple grafts and no drains. The entire thing was held together with steristrips which came off mostly by day 13. They didn't place me on movement restrictions. I could reach overhead even (it wasn't comfortable to do so. But that's a different matter). I was allowed to sleep in any position (again, not comfortable but it speaks to their confidence in their work).

I think once the swelling goes down I'll have next to no scar.

I do heal very well as a general rule and I scar the same color as my skin with no raised areas... but had never had surgery.

I will probably need a revision on the sides. I had a lot of material under my arms and while you can see they went pretty far, I'm not sure enough was taken out. But revisions are way more common than anyone talks about.
