I can see the light!

Well, I have to say that things have greatly improved. I have not worn my contact in 3 weeks! I see very well for distance. Reading close up is still a bit challenging because my unoperated eye is so blurry and the corrected eye is still healing. However, I am now seeing bits of improvement daily. I can see how monovision may work for me. I will update next month. I am loving wearing my shades without contacts!

This evening is rough. It os just over 3 weeks and for the past 2 hrs I have been placing preservative free drops in every 15 minutes. My eye is so irritated. It feels like day 3! It is after hours, but if this feeling continues tomorrow, I will be making a visit to the office. On a good note my clarity has dramatically improved. I do still have blurry periods, but overall the vision in this left eye is better. I am still wearing the contact in my right eye.

That is exactly what I was hoping for. PRK takes longer, because there is no flap created. I have to wait for the actual cornea to heal because the top layer was ablated. Basically. It takes at least 3 months.

Thank u. This is expected for this procedure. However, because the of the shape of my cornea , I was not a candidate for lasik. This procedure is what they did before lasik. I was just hoping to instantly see clearly. It is gradual..... very gradual lol!

All who are considering this procedure, please do one eye at a time!! You must have patience. This is a slow recovery. My eye us still blurry, however making slight improvements each day.
