I am having my procedure at Reflections in Martinsville, NJ. Everyone at Reflections was extremely nice and comforting.
I am a petite women with slim hips. I had a large baby 22 years ago that stretched my skin beyond recovery which is why I had the tummy tuck. Dr. Chasin suggested that I should have had lipo before having the tummy tuck. Then my skin would have been able to be tightened better. Well, I guess I didn't do that right!
I am being realistic about this and I don't expect that my skin will be tight like a 20 year olds. However, I'm hoping for some improvement.
I look forward to having a Waist again and my clothes fitting better!

Having SlimLipo tomorrow and I'm a bit nervous!

The big day is tomorrow! I don't know why I'm so nervous. I had a TT 5 years ago and was less nervous for that. Dr. Chasin said that SlimLipo is nothing compared to a TT, which is major surgery. I guess I'm going to hold only that thought to calm my nerves.
I've ready that most of you take pain killers after the procedure. Unfortunately I can't take pain killers because they make me very sick. I could only use Tylenol even when I had my TT. If I survived that, then I can survive this! Don't you think?

Day of treatment
Slim Lipo procedure on abdomen, love handles and Flanks went GREAT!

I was very nervous before my procedure. I keep busy cleaning the house before my appointment to keep my mind off of it. When I arrived at Reflections everyone helped to calm my nerves. They didn't give me Vicodin because it makes me ill. Of course, I did get Lorazepam which made it a bit easier. They spoke to me throughout the procedure and I asked many questions about what was happening which Dr. Chasin answered.
There was some occasional pain or I would say it was more like burning or stinging. When I mentioned this to Dr. Chasin, he would make the area more numb. He said I had some very dense fat that needed to be broken down which is what was causing the burning or stinging pain. But, he took care of that.
For the majority of the procedure the discomfort level was about a 2 out of 10. Not bad at all!
Dr. Chasin said that he is very happy with the results so far. At least, while he was competing the procedure.
Right now I'm staying at a friends house and I just ate dinner with no problem. I'm still numb and am not feeling any real pain yet.
I'll post an update tomorrow.
