Almost 2 years later

Growing up, I heard about plastic surgery and never thought I would need it. As the perception of it was going "under the knife" which meant pain plus money we "could not" afford. However, as I got older and had kids I dreaded looking in the mirror to figure out what to wear and was really depressed about by appearance. After breast feeding my son for 18 months, then going from a full c to a sad B I didn't feel I had any confidence at all. In August 2016, I set my mind to commit to changing by life and started working out. As a result, I lost 50 lbs which lead for my skin to drop in areas I thought would tighten up like my stomach. After 5 months and crying my eyes out because I didn't like to see myself in a dress I started looking up tummy tucks and was scared immediately by the large incision. I continued researching and reading reviews and experiences on real self and started losing the fear. The before and afters motivated me and made me keep going. I started researching without realizing I was really going to do it and consulted 3 surgeons based on yelp reviews. Of all 3, I was attracted to Dr. Luis Macias specifically because he seemed to be the only one who offered "No Drain Tummy Tucks" which was really intriguing as I was afraid that my two little ones would accidentally hurt me if I chose a doctor that did it with drains. At my consultation, I shared what I disliked the most with Dr. Luis Macias. He told me how I was a great candidate and what he would be able to accomplish. I was thrilled to hear that I didn't have to keep this odd body forever and even considered a breast lift with implants. Which I totally didn't plan to do. Overall, I ended up scheduling my procedure in January for March 17, 2017 to have the Tummy Tuck, Breast Lift + Augmentation, (++ Added Butt Lift and Chin Lipo last minute) procedures all the same day. It was all surreal and I had the best supporter in the world, my mom.
This entire experience was better than I expected, I would do it all over again in a heart beat. I gained confidence back and feel so much better about myself it is absolutely AMAZING!
