I paid 14,000 for coolsculpting on my back (bra bulge and flanks) and stomach (lower stomach).
Cons: ZERO RESULTS; I WASTED $14,000.00; Pain & Discomfort for months; Marina Plastic Surgery refuses to reimburse a reasonable amount or offer another procedure.
After 2 sessions (3 on some areas) and 14,000.00 later there were ABSOLUTELY NO RESULTS WHATSOEVER. I did not use all of my sessions, and they refuse to give me that money back as well. I begged them for reimbursement or to conduct liposculpting or some other procedure but they ABSOLUTELY refused. They offered a 3rd session "at their cost, because "they really care about their customers...and want them to get results". I took the 3rd session but only on a few areas because I didn't want to endure the pain again for nothing. Unfortunately, I didn't experience any results again. And now they are holding my money hostage (because I didn't see results after the 1st session, I didn't get all the areas done again until I saw results). So now they are giving me some story about "you did do all the sessions, you didn't have any money left over". Again, I pleaded with them again to either reimburse me or conduct another procedure. They informed me that they didn't guarantee anything. In fact the office manager taunted me, saying " nothing can stop you from writing a bad review about us, it's just the cost of doing business". I mean, how rude is she! BTW, they took pre and post photos and agreed that my body looked exactly the same.
I don't understand how they can just take one's money without results. If I bought a car, I'd expect to get a car. How can they get away with taking my money without helping my achieve the results they promised or any results for that matter?
Rachel Martinez, Body Sculpting Specialist, treated me in September (1st session), November (2nd session) and Feb (3rd session limited areas). I expressed my concern over lack of results, after the 1st session. Ms. Martinez reminded me that she prescribed 2 sessions on each area for optimal results. She informed me that I would not see results until I'd completed and recovered from my 2nd session as prescribed. Ms. Martinez was very polite and enthusiastic about my results. I shared her enthusiasm.
I had all areas done at the same time per Rachel Martinez' recommendation. I refused to do all areas the 2nd time because I thought it wasn't going to work. Both sessions were very uncomfortable, caused severe bruising and swelling such that I didn't fit in my clothes.
I would not recommend Marina Plastic Surgery to anyone. They will take your money upfront without delivering results. I mean absolutely zero results!
Please know, Dr. Stevens, assessed me as well, and agreed that CoolSculpting would deliver much better results than liposuction would. He literally told me that. He is extremely charming; and I was convinced that he was an honest Dr.
