Breast Implant Revision After 25+ Years. Marina Del Ray, CA

Since my revision with Dr Spring I developed another contracture and had within six months a second Implant revision. Dr Spring chose to place the implants above the muscle where they originally were. My left implant wrinkled and folded so I would feel it poking my skin from the outside and muscle on the inside and it hurt. I went to see Dr Spring with my concern to find out what was wrong. Also I had a complete loss of upper pole fullness and despite lift the "new" implants were sagging and did not fill out the skin. I was told basically it is my thin tissue and because I was over muscle that is why I felt the Implant poke. There was no word of we need to make changes to correct it I was basically dismissed feeling like it was my "fault" not having a better result because I had thin tissue!!! Upon leaving this office in MDR I was crying hysterically. A relative recommended to see Dr Bresnick for second opinion. Not only did I see him for a second opinion but also for a second revision!! He placed larger implants totally under the muscle and used Strattice to strengthen my thin tissue. I could not be happier with the results! Never had such a great cleavage and feminine looking beautiful breasts!!! Dr Spring surely did the best of what she could have done however for my situation she lacked experience to perform this complicated revision. I am now three months plus after the second Implant revision and am slowly starting to perform normal activities again.

Unfortunately my breast developed a capsular contracture at four months post op again and my left implant appeared to have a fold thats why I felt the poking under the skin and pain.
It might have been prevented by closing the iriginal pocket and placing implants in a new place under muscle with tissue reinforcement to prevent bottoming out.
I know now all of this because I had a revision from the revision????couple weeks ago with another Doctor. I would never had gone back to MDR office. I did not have faith in Doctors skills anymore. While Dr Spring could be really good for a primary Breast Augmentation my gut told me not to have another revision with her.
I chose Dr Bresnick and so far everything looks and feels good????

I developed capsular contracture in the past year or two and my left breast started getting really clumpy and hurt. Needed revision surgery.
