I am in my 40's and only have 1 child who is grown. I have been wanting to do this for many many years. I have the funds and the cottage to do it now. Wont lie I am nervous some days and just fine other days. Been reading other women's journey and looking at pics so I have some clue of what's goin on. I have done my research and asked my doc all kinds of questions.
Having a smooth procedure and pretty good results is all we want, especially after paying all that money.
Just concerned about healing of belly button since I have tendency to keloid just a bit. Anyone got info on this.

LOL! that song should be our anthem! We lived in Marietta for a short time ages ago, my oldest was born while there. Loved loved loved Georgia!I think Kimmers has a list of items she found helpful, she is our moderator. Her story is entertaining and thorough. good luck!

Just had TT 6 days ago after wanting it for 8 years, the results already are amazing. However the pain and constipation is awful! I feel emotionally and physicaly drained, I've been told this is like childbirth , you'll forget all this psin and never regret the surgery. I'm really needing to feel that pretty soon .

Yeah im hoping my pain pump keeps me off narcotics which leads to NO constipation!

Hi ladies I'm 15 days post op now, the pain is much better it was after day 4 , I hope to get rid of a drain today

It is temporary and I would recommend starting stool softness before the surgery.

I agree with everything Obx girl says....I am experiencing the same kind of recovery, except I feel like this may have actually been worse than childbirth. Everyone has their own experience, and some are better than others......I just can't wait to see my ultimate results though. I am planning my wedding and pray that it is everything I dreamed and more. From your neighbor (Douglasville).....Good luck ABrandNewMe2013!!!
