Oh, and someone asked my age. I am 54 years old and in good health. You need to have someone with you at all times for at least a few days just to be on the safe side. The drain sucked but you take the good with the bad to achieve your ultimate self.

The total time for all of my procedures was right at 9 hours. I kept the effects of anesthesia for about 3 days, which I believe helped me cope with any discomfort I had but never have had any real "pain." I don't remember much about the first couple of days but all-in-all, 6 weeks and $18000 later, I am very happy with the outcome so far and it was all totally worth it. I know it will take a few more months for all swelling to dissipate and probably a little longer for me to see the final results.

I prepared myself by watching YouTube videos of recoveries & videos of the surgeries themselves. This was both a good & bad idea. I couldn't believe I was going to voluntarily have all of this done. I'm now 6 weeks postop and am very happy with my results thus far. The tummy tuck & breast reduction recoveries have been uneventful & rather pain free thanks to Dr. Park. Most of my issues came from lipo, being extremely sore, extensive bruising, nerve ending regeneration has been quite painful in my pelvic area. I'm still quite swollen in my upper & lower tummy, which is quite uncomfortable. I'm also still quite numb in my tummy area. I have been dealing with 2 wounds, 1 under each breast, which will take months for one of them to heal. These are totally open wounds that I have to dress twice daily with saline moist gauze. I still can't sleep on my tummy due to pain caused by the swelling and the wounds. If you have the opportunity to include Smooth Shapes in your postop course, I would recommend it 100%. I have loved my sessions. I have to say that even if lipo was free of charge, I will never have it again on any area of my body. Tummy tuck & breast reduction have gone fine, but lipo recovery was excruciatingly painful, at least in my case.

Dr. Park has done an amazing job with my transformation. If I were to have any further procedures, I would definitely go straight to him. His entire staff has always been personable, helpful, and friendly.
