You look great! How did she choose between a mini or full tummy tuck for you? How much?
June 26, 2016
Thank you. I went to my consultation thinking I was in need of a full. I had never heard of a mini before. After Dr Celestin took my pictures and performed my examination, she said I didn't need a full and only need a mini. I trusted her assessment as The Professional. The idea of having less scarring was also appealing to hear. After speaking with her, I new she understood the results I wanted out of the procedure. Quite simply, she understood me. $8100. I hope this helps. Please let me know what you decide. The best advice I can give is to get a doctor who you can trust. I pray the best for you.

Thanks for responding. I did a consultation with Stanley Okoro, and he said I needed a full tummy tuck. It's the scar and healing time off that is bothering me. Anyway, her pricing is good. He quoted me around $17k. For a full tummy tuck which includes liposuction. He added liposuction for my axilia and bra roll which is $1499 separately. I just think that's wayyy too much. I'm not trying to finance a Honda civic. Thanks for everything!

You're welcome. You should get another opinion from another surgeon. The recovery was painful but now that it's over, I can say it was worth it. You have to take one day at a time. Your happiness is worth more than a Honda Civic.

I forgot to mention that they often run various discounted specials throughout the year. You should sign up to receive their newsletter. I took advantage of the special.

I actually had my first consult a year before I actually had the surgery. Other thing were more of a priority. A year later when I saw the special I went back. The timing was right. I'm glad I was on their email list. Surgery in February 2016 and no regrets! I wish you all the best!

Thank you. I'm quite pleased. My only problem has nothing to do with the surgery. It's sooooo hot here, I haven't been motivated to go back to the gym!!!

Something else came to mind. After my examination, my doctor said I didn't need any muscle repair in the area above my belly button.

I'm coming along nicely. My Dr says I'm above the curve and have just a little swelling on the sides. I haven't returned to the gym yet but I'm going to start NOW! I can't wait to see my transformation with exercise included!!!????????????

Week 4 Postop Update

Hi Everyone, I'm quite pleased with my progress. I'm a bit tired of wearing the padding, the compression garment, and the binder but I have to do what I have to do! Dr. Celestin says I have more swelling that is going to go down expedentially as time goes by and by three months I'm going to be REAL happy! I'm soooo excited! I still feel numb in the midsection but I know that takes time too! That's all for now. Bye bye
