Tip droopy...
Been a year now.... Satisfied with bridge but not with the tip.. wish I could reverse hands of time and tell first surgeon not to mess with my tip or bridge and honestly just do the alarplasty... And done the permanent liquid nose job for bridge in the states.
Results from revision were initially satisfactory but tip has become twisted and droopy.
Oh well the journey continues. Wish me luck and blessings all. Trying my best not to be depressed because honestly this isn't even for vanity it's simply to want a nose that fits your face and doesn't stand out in a negative way... Anyone with suggestions or has someone scheduled and needs travel buddy lmk.... Searching for a truly happy ending. Thank you

Swelling gets better. However being that this is a revision swelling is expected. I typically contour with makeup when I do swell.When I eat salty/spicy foods such as ramen I swell so bad! So I will try to eat better. I also stay away from coffee and caffeine. It's difficult but overall I'm still pleased. The tip at times bothers me a bit which is a result from Yaps work but Porquez did feel that attempting to make tip shorter would make it wider . I respect his opinion. But who knows it may be something I may still look into in the future. Anyway I will update again!
Ethnic Revision Rhinoplasty - Primary Rhino with Dr Yap from ICONa

So I had primary rhinoplasty years ago with Dr Yap drom ICON. He is nice and staff were great. However after some time I began not to like results and family/friends thought it was too drastic.
I contacted him for a revision but of course he liked his work but anyway I decided to find another Dr. I was even rejected by some Drs in the U.S. and Philippines. I had some consults even considered Korea but ultimately I'm so happy I decided Dr. John Michael Porquez in the Philippines.
His staff was SO amazing. I miss them in though it was brief. I just like being around positive genuine people. So I wish them all much success.
Dr Porquez pointed out ALL my concerns! I didnt have to say anything. He also recommended a scar tattoo procedure ans laser treatment that I should try as he felt performing another alar surgery would not have good results. I respected his decision and so so so HAPPY! I wish I found him sooner.
There is not a lot of reviews for him online but I ultimately chose him because of the few that I did see, especially his work on an actor that had a gym accident also his patience with me when I inquired about the procedure. He was very open and honest with me.
I arrived to Manila 25th at night - had my surgery next day. My mistake was not having the cash(pisos) so I had to withdraw from ATM. Big mistake because there is a limit on the amount to take daily which I did not know and also so much charges. It took so long to make the multiple transactions but he was very nice about this situation!! I was so grateful especially since he had another patient that day. Anyway surgery was a success! I went back to get my stitches removed and overall followup was amazing. They were just great people. I honestly wish that he could be closer so I could have my scar treatments with him.
Cost:
It was 2800 for procedure which was great. I received excellent care and great service.
Even after I came back to the states Dr Porquez has always been helpful with any questions I have had.
If you are looking for a revision or your primary don't hesitate to go to Dr Porquez. He is honest and caring. His staff as well. What else can you ask for? My trip was so worth thank God. I don't know what I would have done if I had a failed 2nd procedure. My family and friends love it... If only he did my primary procedure with him I would not have had to deal with these scars but anyway all that matters is this was a success.
