How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

3rd day post op, size and recovery

So when it comes to choosing my size during consultations the surgeons gave me options from 275cc 300cc and 325cc, in some of my consultation they suggested that I get a high profile implant, they say its better for my body frame, but I chose to go in between so the size I chose is 300cc moderate plus silicone implant, as I don't really wanna go so big, but looking at my implant from the side it looks quite small I kinda regret it I think high profile is really good for me.

On my 1st and 2nd day post op I started walking around the mall as I live just beside the greenbelt area of makati, I only have a small bruise under my right breast I don't feel much pain and was able to raise my hand the same day after my operation, I also didn't have any fever, so I think my body is taking the implant positively, it's just uncomfortable having the bandage on my armpit so I tend to raise my shoulder makes me feel like a walking frankenstein lol,
when it comes to sleeping I try to move around and sleep on my side or even on my front to squeeze the implant it's painful but bearable I just don't want to have muscle contractions, I'm on my 3rd day now and I went out for a meeting I also stopped taking the pain meds but I'm continuing the antibiotics

I've been researching a lot before I decided to do...

I've been researching a lot before I decided to do the surgery, been reading a lot of reviews here in real self, I was deciding to go to Bangkok and researched for surgeons, I contacted several surgeons there based on the reviews I've read.
And also deciding if id do the surgery here in the Philippines instead, doing the research for surgeons here is harder than doing research for thai surgeons, there is not many reviews on the surgeonsite here, to cut it short i decided to see couple of surgeons here in PH before deciding for my surgery.
I had 3 consultations and the last doctor I've seen had my confidence and trust, during the consultation we talked for almost 2hrs his been very informative and I didn't feel that he was rushing me plus his practice is trans axillary augmentation which I very much prefer as I don't want scars on my boobs,

I had my surgery yesterday with Dr. James Joaquino of new life plastic surgery
everything went well I asked the nurse to take photos during my surgery,
the surgery started around 12pm, I woke up in the recovery room around 3pm shivering, but the anesthesiologist had already told me it was normal as the anesthesia wears off, called my driver to pick me up at 4pm and I was okay no pain just that the bandage is too tight and I have a bit of difficulty breathing, I was a little disappointment when I saw my boobs in the mirror coz the left side is a bit higher although the doctor had already told me about that coz I have a scoliosis as seen on my before photos so now I'm just hoping that it wouldn't be obvious in the final result.
