I went to see doctor provolarapu the week before thanksgiving. She is the most sweetest and patient person. She advised me that she wants me to stop breastfeeding before I get the TT because of the hormone that breast milk produce. I plan to stop by the end of December and plan to go back and see her a month later. I want to atleast loose about 6 lbs before I go back. I just has a baby in September and I was 152 when I got pregnant and was 210 when I went into labor and now 185 so I still have weight to loose. I can't wait to get my TT I'm so over this stomach. I appreciate everyone reviews that went to see her it really helped me to decide. I plan to get the TT the 2nd week in February if all goes well and if she agrees. I know I'm over this flabby thing they call a stomach.

well,, i went a 2nd time she took pictures and gave me the blood work paper to get filled out and the info to order the garment. She stated that I need to make sure that I dont plan on having anymore children becuase she would hate for me to waste money and health issues etc. So... Today i called back and they set me up for march 28 and she will confirm on monday. I cant wait!!

Good luck! I am tentatively scheduled to have surgery with Dr. Polavarapu April 16th, so if that works out we we only be a few weeks apart! I can't wait to read about your experience and results:)

thank you. im trying to get my pre-surgical test done but my doctor states my insurance wont cover it because it considered a " cosmetic procedure". so now im trying to figure out my next move. question.. did you have to get a ekg test done?

Yes. I had my EKG and chest xray. If you are healthy she might be able to do it without the cxr. If you are considered high risk that the cxr is a must

Ask how much are the test, if you pay cash. If you are do for a physical your doc could at least work with you and do at least the blood work. Hope everything works out for you.

Hi - I saw you visited my page asking if I got an EKG done. I went to a doc referred by Dr. Polavarapu and is affiliated with the NYEE. It includes an EKG so that you can get your "fitness for surgery" certificate.

I have been having a hard time getting a date from dr.p. I have seen her 2x in her office and spoke to her 2x on the phone and emailed her 2x. i took my pre-op pics and she gave me the paperwork to get files out by doctor. I currently have a 3rd meeting scheduled with her for april 23rd. I also have a tentative date set for may 5th.. i am having a hard time now getting these test done. i know if god wants me to have this i will and if he dosent i wont.
