A broken nose a few months ago left me with a slightly shifted nose. I'd always had a small-ish bump on my nose and the break and resulting crookedness made it larger and more apparent. I saw Dr. Liotta in NYC today for a consult re: possible surgery and the option of fillers. I ended up having Juvaderm Voluma injected above and below the dorsal hump. She used 0.2cc on my nose and I opted to use the rest of the syringe on my cheeks. The procedure was quick and the pain was minimal. It was more of an odd sensation than anything else. Overall, super happy with the process and the results!

You had a great end result! Yay for you. I am thinking of doing the same but for cosmetic reasons only. I am curious if people outside of your family/friends noticed anything different?

Thanks! If they have noticed, they haven't mentioned it! I'm guessing that some noticed something was different but because I wasn't out of commission for surgery and non-surgical nose contouring isn't widely known about that they didn't really register what exactly changed. Also, from the front it looks the same as it did before I broke it so it would only be very noticeable from the side I think.

How many filler injection did you need to get this result? Can this non surgical nose job works to narrow the bridge and for redefining the tip?

Everything was done in one session, and she used about 20% of the syringe I think. Fillers can only add volume not take it away, so for this she injected filler above and just below the bump on my nose, essentially making the indent at the top of my nose less shallow, which gives the impression that my nose is smaller even though she really added volume to it. I'm guessing this kind of nose contouring wouldn't be that helpful for narrowing the bridge of the nose because while I guess they could inject filler to the sides of the nose to make the bridge look less wide, the whole nose would probably be obviously wide in the result. I asked about the tip of the nose when I went and the doctor told me that was a limitation of the procedure. The tip of the nose is too vascular to handle much filler. I think it's probably best for giving the illusion of a straight nose and fixing any irregularities like crookedness.

Thanks, I truly appreciate for you detailed message and answering my question. So if you don't mind can I know how much did you paid for one session for your surgery?

Thank you so much for sharing.
