$6,000
I went to this Dr. after living with three to four years of hideous scars around my ears following a face lift (different doctor). These scars made me so unhappy because a good face lift should not show visible scarring. I agonized over the decision because the "fix" was expensive and painful. I opted for this Dr. for his educational experience and manner. This surgery was a complete disappointment. After about four or five months the scar started to return. Now I have almost the same type of scarring I had before the surgery on one side of my face. Many of my close friends have commented on this ugly scar. The doctor did follow my recovery along for a couple of months in case there were visible signs of the return of scar tissue. My last appointment was about 6 months after I told the doctor about the problem. That visit, I had approximently ten of the most painful injections of my life in the scars around my ear. If that wasn't bad enough the injection did absolutely nothing. Bottom line. This was a total fail and not worth the money I paid at all.

Sorry you are going thru this. I actually watched a video online few weeks ago that this dr made online and he seemed to be knowledgeable but I have learned that sometimes despite their excellent credentials, their skill does not live up to them. I am post op a few months from mini facelife done by dr also with great credentials and so far I am not happy. Have you tried using scaraway silicone strips or gel. It does work amazingly on both old and new scars. I once used the strips on a very bad burn which actually scarred badly and it is completely gone now. Also have been using the gel on my lift scars and just switched over to the strips and the scars are healing really nicely from it. Give it a try but you must be diligent for a couple of months and keep them on at least 12hrs or more. You can buy them in the drugstore. I feel the strips rather than the gel work better and faster.
Thanks for the info! I will try them.
Try dr. Blaine's scar guard. Absolutely amazing and only $20
I'm sorry to hear what you going thru. Thank you for sharing. Hope that your scar diminishes with the silicones strips.
So sorry about your experience. Is $6,000 the norm for scar revisions? I noticed that whenever someone has given this doctor a negative review without pictures he always responds and deny that the patient is his. This time he didn't respond because you provided proof of your experience.
Atleast this doctor didn't make this person sign paperwork saying that they would not be able topmost any negative comments about their experience with them. This happened to me, and the Beverly Hills physician makes you sing it before you get any procedure done. Stating that negative comments ruin their business. Amazing! He also says if you do post comments he will sue you for ruining his reputation. Try that one on for size!
He can say what he wants. That paper won't hold up in court. It's just a scare tactic. Present your review in the form of an opinion not facts.

Also, present your review
That's why you can't trust all of the positive reviews.
I appreciate all feedback - positive, negative or neutral - as it guides my understanding of my patients' experiences. My goal is to deliver the aesthetic results my patients desire, and I am successful in achieving this goal in an overwhelming majority of the cases. Nonetheless, procedures to revise scars from previous surgeries do carry risks - including scar reformation. Patients seeking this (and any other) procedure are counseled extensively on the risk, benefits and likely outcomes of the treatment. I am forthright about all potential complications and regarding the possible need for additional follow-up procedures. Indeed, all of this information is covered in the informed consent document every patient signs prior to undergoing treatment. It is also important to note that some patients, simply due to their physiology, have a tendency to form thickened scars - this information is also covered in the informed consent.

I certainly sympathize with any patient whose outcome was less than what was desired. While I strive for 100% patient satisfaction, I realize that I cannot satisfy every patient's goals completely. However, I am always available to discuss my patients concerns, and provide alternative treatment plans as necessary.
Does your policy involve returning funds since you failed to perform the services properly?
I never had a scar in my life until these two surgeries. Informed consent or not be advised that this doctor did nothing to fix my scars except take my money.
