I was not happy looking at the deep lines by my mouth and the sunken areas on my cheeks and chin. I did not want to do a face lift at this time. My doctor suggested Restylane as a way to improve my appearance. I have been having the injections 2-3 times a year for the last 8 years. The results are amazing. There is sometimes a little bruising which disappears in a few days. People have told me how smooth my skin looks and that makes me feel wonderful.

Dr. Zweifler listened carefully when I explained that I was not happy with the lines at the sides of my mouth and the sunken areas on my chin and cheeks. She suggested using Restylane. First she put a numbing cream on my face, so I would not feel the needle injections as much. Then she injected the Restylane in my problem spots. Throughout the procedure, she would stop and give me a mirror, so I could decide if I needed more in certain areas. I thought it was important that I was an active participant in the treatment. The results are terrific. Dr. Zweifler is a caring, well-informed and well-trained professional.

Sounds like you've had a long success with Restylane- congrats!  Do you know how many syringes/vials you have injected at each visit?

Have you ever considered doing one of the more permanent fillers so that you don't have to go back and get more as often or are you happy with your restylane routine?
