WORTH IT$1,000
I came to Dr Shelton to remove a permanent makeup eyeliner tattoo that I disliked. The tattoo was black, very thick and didn't suit my eye shape. He decided to use the picture laser. It took a little over a year and about 7 sessions but now there are barely any traces of the tattoo. The process was long and somewhat painful but I am very happy with my results.

Hello! I am considering laser removal- was wondering if you experienced any side effects from the removal?

I had it done on my eyelids where the skin is very thin. I had one side effect. After two sessions I developed a shadow on the corner of my eyes. Some of the ink seemed to get stuck there while my body was elimanting it. Dr Shelton quickly diagnosed the problem and did a laser treatment to that area to correct it. Now everything looks perfect. My skin looks almost exactly like it did before I got the tattoo. I hope that helps. Best of luck and remember it's a process do be patient.

Can you tell me how much *each* treatment cost? I've had laser removal for eyeliner in CA and want to continue in NY but for just a consultation Dr. Shelton charges over $600.

I'd like to amend this comment. I have since found out that Dr. Shelton actually charges $450 for a consultation, which is applied toward the cost of the procedure if you decide to go through with it. Dr. Shelton's practice charges $600 per eyelid for laser tattoo removal of eyeliner –– so $1200 for both eyelids.
