So, yea, definitely have some lumps. And of course, I contacted the doctor and their office again and no response. Definitely will not be going back to him. After texting him previously on 3 occasions and getting no reply, I used a somewhat unusual approach to get his attention. Then he responds very negatively and calling me names and that I'm "bitching" … to think I just got into a full blown argument with him and he never answered the question. I was on here arguing with another user, probably a doctor, defending him. But the truth is … overall this experience has been terrible. From waiting 3 hours In His office even though he saw me come in for surgery and he left. Then during surgery he left me on the table for 45 minutes after injecting the tumescent fluid and lidocaine and I felt panicky and actually cried on the table. He made all kinds of crazy comments during surgery. How he hates nurses and am I afraid. Bunch of BS. To me not getting a follow up after the staff told me he would be there. So I never got a follow up. I text questions, which other doctors have allowed I've noticed and which I thought he did as well and he doesn't respond at all. Like just take your money. Treated like a slab of meat on the OR table. Not even the decency to put drains in but let you leak for days. I should have done more investigating. My results are okay. And like the paperwork stated the goal isn't perfection but you would think for $10,000 dollars that you would at least be treated with an ounce of decency. No wonder people are bashing him on the internet. I have not done any bashing but I needed to tell you and I also told him how I felt as a patient. He really needs to do better or just quit.

Starting to feel like I want a round 2 already. I'm not unhappy bc I look a lot better that before but I still want more done. I'm going to look into it in a couple months. I probably won't go back to Shahine. Mainly because he doesn't communicate well and I had questions. Luckily I'm in the medical field so I'm not totally clueless.

I'm going to Dr Del Vecchio in Boston but he also has an office I. New York. This will be my round 2 and I'm like u I'm not totally unhappy but now I'm just perfecting what I already have. My date is Feb 3 and I can't wait!!!! Hope u find someone you like!
My hope is that this "doctor" and I put that in quotations, because it feels extremely just, gets shut down by the law from practicing any further surgical/medical procedures immediately. I also hope he faces further penalties with the justice system, because what he is doing should be criminal!
Your somewhat lucky, because this could have been so much worse, like loss of life or being severely disfigured. That's why I said God was clearly with you. That's also not to downplay your negative experience, because I do feel empathy for you. In the end plastic surgery will always come with serious risks even with due diligence, because for whatever reason it's not regulated like it's a surgery, which is nuts if you think of it logically. Unfortunately, logic comes to play for most of us after the fact.
I hope that the physical complaints iron their own way out. I do suggest that you no longer allow this man to spbe ask to you in the manner that he has. You don't deserve to be abused or manipulated by anyone. It sounds to me you know that and are a strong person. Just in case, you are not "dumb" "crazy" or any of the other names you were called. Also, if someone in the medical community thought your intelligence or mental health state was hindering you don't you think the conversation would be different? Caution exercised and a soft level of guidance to help you get to where you need? To me his texts sound like intimidation, but only he could answer to that.
I can't tell you what to do and it most certainly is your decision, but I do hope you report him. I know that if one of the two surgeons who operated on me had been reported in the state and or to their boards I would not have chosen to have surgery with the doctor that screwed up my face. I actually likely wouldn't have had plastic surgery at all and only the medical parts.
