8 weeks and 3 days post op

I'm beyond disappointed....at this juncture I'm not sure if this dent and uneven, lumpy stomach will ever go back to normal. I know some people say it's all apart of the healing process, but when I look at other pics of some of the ladies who have had the same surgery as I did, it makes me wonder if my stomach will ever be completely flat. If you look at my pics from a few weeks ago, not much has changed.....I just got my abdominal board in the mail on Friday and I've been putting it on as soon as I get in from work!!! Hopefully it'll go away...:(

7 weeks post op

I am completely mortified and distraught at the fact that I was just informed that there are all of these medical malpractice lawsuits against Dr. Ayman Shahine!! When I researched him I didn't find any!!! My stomach looks the same. It's still hard and lumpy and seems uneven in some spots, but I was told by other doctors that this is in fact normal. HOWEVER, the fact that this one indentation hasn't gone away is really alarming and concerns me a great deal. I don't know if I'll have to undergo additional surgery or what, but I am very nervous and uneasy. I'm just trying to be patient, but it's kind of hard when I look at other pictures of ladies who have had similar surgery and they look absolutely amazing. You can compare my pics that I'm uploading today vs. the ones I uploaded initially. Looks exactly the same.

I researched Dr. Ayman Shahine since..probably...

I researched Dr. Ayman Shahine since..probably about January 2014. Initially I had to figure out a way to come up with the money for the procedure. I am still in the healing stages so I can't say for sure how happy I am with the liposuction portion of the surgery, however, my ass looks amazing!! Some of my friends think it looks the same. That can't be possible because I went from a size 3 in jeans to a size 10!!!!! His staff is SO UNPROFESSIONAL and so uninformed about virtually everything!!! I sent pics to Marley, who lied about being the office manager. She gave me one quote in January and when I got ready to come back for my procedure it increased by $2,000!!! I saved all of my texts. She lied and mentioned something about the price being a "promotional price". YEAH RIGHT!!! Those consultants make up the prices as they go along. I only had a small pouch in the front of my stomach. OK. So here's where it gets crazy. My date for surgery was suppose to be 7/24. I sent my debit card information via fax, along with a letter, stating I was authorizing a one time withdrawal of $500. The very next day, I check my account, only to see $4,000 deducted from several accounts!!! Overdraft fees, etc.!! To say that I was livid would be a complete understatement. I call my bank, put in a claim and received a refund, only on my banks behalf. Not to mention, the following day was my 32nd birthday!!! In any event, I called and spoke with a few uninformed staff members and then finally found out that Marley is no office manager at all. She promised to move my appointment date up (another lie!!). So when I finally found out who the office manager was, she told me that I could come in on 6/14 at midnight. I got there and was told that they couldn't find any paperwork on me, other than blood work. they didn't have any receipt for the $4,000 or anything. Luckily for me I brought my bank statement to prove that they in fact took $4,000 from several accounts (I had to go through hell getting fees back because I have several credit cards linked to my bank account and since the $4,000 didn't just come from 1 specific account, I had to constantly be on the phone with my bank AND credit card companies...total nightmare.). So, the girl asks me what my balance was....I just made up a number because I was so pissed off!!! The number I gave her was VERY, VERY LOW...needless to say, I didn't pay the entire amount. If his office was more organized that would have never happened!!!! I got to the office at midnight, surgery was at 6 a.m. and I left by noon. I had lipo done to my stomach, sides and back, and then I had the BBl procedure. I was awake for the entire procedure and believe it or not, I FELT NO PAIN AT ALL. I will be honest though, the injections in the butt was something I could actually feel a little bit. But the lipo was a piece of cake!! And I had to be put to sleep during birth!!! I am no sucker for pain ladies, so please believe me when I tell you there is no pain! NOW.....afterwards, I was given this garment to put on. Now I am noticing small lines and a slight crease/indentation that I am working on hard on making sure it doesn't become permanent! I leaked for a bout 2 days. It's been 6 weeks now and I still have a slight bulge in the front. I haven't worn any jeans, only dresses, so I make sure I don't have anything tight on. The garment is supposed to be worn 4 weeks day and night, and another 4 weeks at night only. I've kind of fallen back from wearing the garment at night all the time because I think it may be the reason behind some of the lines/creases/indentation. So I do it every other night because I notice that when I don't wear it at night, when I wake up in the morning, the lines/creases aren't as visible.

Dr. Shahine is hilarious!! He definitely has a sense of humor!! He was very informed and I was nervous at first because I watched several videos of him performing the surgery. The thought of being awake put my anxiety at an all time high! But he reassured me that I would be fine, and I was! My only complaint was the staff not being as informed and having knowledge of simple things. That was a major concern for me. Also, the fact that when I went back for post op at 8 pm I didn't leave out of there until 10!!!! I live in NJ so it was just a bit of a hassle getting back into the city from NJ. His entire staff is a bunch of idiots...from Noreen to Marley to the entire bunch!!! I have been calling for weeks to find out how many cc's was transferred and everyone acts as if its top secret and I'm not suppose to be privy to the information. If he had better staff, I'd recommend him..but because you have to go through them to get to him....it's frustrating. All they do is LIE!!!
