After losing 112 lbs, I find myself with lots of loose skin everywhere. The lower body lift was my second surgery. The first was an arm and breast lift. I'll have one more surgery after this for inner thighs and fat transfer. Basically my whole body! I'm having the work done at a plastic surgery fellowship clinic at MEETH in NYC. for details about clinics I found in the area and costs for all of my surgeries, please see my first blog at https://www.realself.com/review/nyc-arm-lift-breast-lift-brachioplasty-body-lift-thigh-lift-fat-transfer. It's the only way I could afford to get all of this work done and stay in the country. I've been very happy with my work and highly recommend going this route!
I was very nervous about the recovery, but I have to say it hasn't been too bad. I'm 9 dpo. I don't have a recliner so I've got pillows set up on the couch and in bed that I've been going between. It's been fine. I needed help getting up from the reclined position for maybe four days. Last night I slept flat with just a pillow under my knees and needed my hubby to get me up. Definite couldn't do it myself!
Two of the four drains came out at my one week follow up. The remaining two are a nuisance but what can I do. I'm out of the binder and using a compression garment.
The pain wasn't too bad. I got Experel shots during surgery and had scripts for oxycodone and Valium. I slept a lot for several days. I can move around well enough now but tire very easily. I drove to the local post office today (not taking pain killers anymore). I was able to do it but I don't think I can drive any distance. Was tired from that small trip.
I've got pics to post. They are from 4 dpo. I'm thrilled with the results. I can't believe the difference it made in the front of thighs. So happy!

Hi, sorry I never saw your post. Took two months to fully recover, only a couple of weeks to be able to get around on my own. The swelling does last for many months. It goes up and down based on your activity.

Congrats!!!! Your story caught my eye as I lost 112 lbs and has surgery on 4/3!!! Had LBL, bracioplasty, breast lift with augmentation and fat transfer to buttocks.... it's been a pretty rough recovery road but worth it! Hope you are doing well!

Congratulations! My surgeon wouldn't do it all at one time. I had the breast lift and arms in January and the LBL April 4. I can only imagine what your recovery is like! My last surgery will be a thigh lift and fat transfer to the breasts. Putting it off until the fall so I can enjoy my summer. Good luck and I hope you have a smooth recovery!

Your photos are amazing. The difference is stunning even 4 days post op. Congrats! I'll be having my surgery in a couple of weeks so I'll be following your progress. Thanks for posting!

Wow! Congrats on the weight loss and the procedures! I'm scheduled for brachioplasty, breast lift/augmentation, LBL w/360 lipo on 11/1. I've been dying to ask someone who's been through it if that's totally crazy! I'm worried about recovery and not jeopardizing any of the results.. Do you think it's possible (tho extremely difficult) to safely recover? Congrats again! I'm getting excited/nervous. Have wanted for a lot of years....

Congrats to you! I had brachioplasty and breast lift first, then the lower body lift. It’s doable, but will probably be difficult not because of pain, but because you can’t sit up without pulling yourself up using a chair or something and I don’t know how well you’ll be able to do that with the upper body procedures done at the same time. But I’ve heard of others doing it so it is possible!
Did u go home or stay in hospital/hotel for a day?
