Revision day!!!!

Hello all so as posted I was going to have to go back to get a revision to my right outer thigh since there was an uneven spot almost like a fat pouch that stuck out.

My appointment was this morning at 10:30am. I arrived 15 min early to sign paper work and for the doctor to prep me. Let me tell you I was super nervous because I was going to be awake this time since I was just getting a small area done. The first time I paid for the anesthesia since I had so many areas done. The doc prescribed 2 volumes to help ease my nerves. I took one on the way (I had a friend drive me and take me home) and the other when I got to the office. Thank god I did because they really helped me from freaking out.

Once they were ready I was taken to the consult room where I met Dr Breitbart had examined the area marked me up and waited till I was called to get operated on. About 15 min later the nurse come in asked me some more help questions then off I went to the room. I laid down on the table belly down. Fear at this point was at a 10 but the meds helped me from jumping off the table and running out the room haha.

The nurse first stuck me with three initial small shots to numb the area. Almost like when u go to the dentist and they numb your tooth. Not really much pain just little pricks. The doctor then entered the room. He first made a small hole in the same area he went in b4 for the previous surgery. At this point they asked me how I was and explains they would now be pumping me with the numbing fluid and that it would hurt but only for a min or two. Soooooo let me just tell you I felt the long tube lik needle go in and it felt like they were slicing threw my skin but the pain was manageable. Just when I thought I could take it anymore he would stop then had to enter again to work around the area and make sure it was all numb. All in all was really fast about 3/4 min.

Once that was done they once again asked how I was then said they were ready to begin. At this point I didn't feel one thing just pressure when he was working the area and he kept his had on my leg the entire time as he worked. Once that laser was done then he turned on the suction and proceed again to work the area. Little side note I kept my eyes open the entries time. I could see what he was doing but could see the tube and the jar the fat wa being distributed to and call me weird but I thought it was pretty kool to watch all the "chicken nugget" fat pouch be sucked away lol.

Then just like that I was done he gave a few stitches the nurse asked how much was taken out and the doctor said 100 so guessing cc's not sure how that works. Last time I believe it was liters since I had more areas done and this was just a touch up small spot. The nurse then helped me off the table walked me to my room I put on my garment and clothes and off I went! Poof just like that I was done. All in all from the time I got on the table and they operated it was only 15min tops. I had made a joke after the doc said he was done and was like "that's it? No wonder y celebrities look so good this was nothing haha"

Hey gave me after care instructions s dukes a follow up appt in two weeks and I was gone. In total was there for an hour. My friend drove me home when I got home I was in no pain since my leg was still numb. I am now writing this 13 hours after surgery and I must say I'm in little pain. Only had to take one pain pill and also been taking Tylenol. I started taking antibiotics yesterday and also have the arnica tablets to help with swelling. The arnica gel really helps too and inout that on when I got home.

I don't know y I was so nervous it was really not so bad. Guess maybe because the first time I got this done I literally got almost my entire body done besides my torso so this is just a walk in the park for me lol (no pun intended) I also have a pretty high pain tolerance and knew what to expect since this was round too. But I'm home resting the area in numb to touch and is all swollen and looks crazy and deformed and also feels like Simone beat me in the side of the leg with a bat but I know in a feed weeks it will be better and for me last time at the 6 week point I was back to my full normal activities just fine. I will stay posting pics and updating. Fingers crossed that this revision works and my chicken nugget pouch is gone!!!

9 month update!

Hello my RS team. So I figured I would post my 9 month review since I haven't posted anything in a while. Everything has been great I had my finale follow up with my doc last week and basically what u see is what u get at this point lol.

I'm so happy I did this surgery and I feel completely fine. No more sensitivity my scars are barely visible and have lost about an inch off of each under arm. Each of my thighs and a half inch off my knees!!!! That is something that just diet and working out could not do and believe me being a personal trainer/ working FT and and a single mom of two I'm very active and just couldn't loose those extra lumps. Also I went down a pant size!!! Whoop whoop from a 6 to a solid 4. Size medium workout pants to a small!!!

If your considering this surgery and have a healthy active lifestyle but just can't get off the last little bit I would highly suggest it. It's boosted my confidence in so many ways and feel more comfortable in my skin again.

So on mother note when I went to my follow up there is one area on my outer right thigh and didn't come out as smooth as my left. My doctor showed me b4 pics and showed me that leg already was a little bigger but agreed he would go back in to try and fix the issue. I have my revision set for November 22 in just a couple of months.

I'm very nervous because this time I will be completely awake but I have no choice in the matter I'm not paying 1200 to be out out for one area when a lot of people get it done in multiple areas just under local. So wish me luck I will add another review then. And here r some new pics of me post op 9 months.

One more thing!

And also I do not where my garment anymore only to bed still because I feel like it helps with my sensitive skin. My doctor said I would not need to where it after 4 weeks but I just where it about 6/8 hours at night to sleep in. I feel like it is still helping my body heel well or it might be in my head. whatever it is I'm still using it but no need for during the day thank god trying to hide that stupid thing under my clothes was a night mare.

I went to visit Dr B in July for my free consult. I knew after I had met with him he was the doctor for me. Went in looking to discuss u see arm loop and outer thigh. He then proceeded to tell me I also needed inner thigh and inner knee to get the best results and to look symmetrical. The office was very very friendly and doctor answered all my questions and did not rush the appointment. My surgery is scheduled for Dec 28th 2016! I went on December 13th for my pre op. At this appointment he examined me again took post op pics and I paid for my surgery. The staff then gave me info on what I would need to do for the next two weeks to prep for surgery such as no alcohol, aspirin products and info of ordering my compression garment. They also sent in my scripts and an antibiotic and pain mess for after surgery. The office also gave me a box of arcinia pills that I will need to take the day b4 surgery and then after for a few days to help with swelling and bruising. I'm super excited also very very nervous I know I have made the best decision for myself and will remain positive about it all! Will be updating as I go through the process to hopefully help others in making there decision with laser lipo!
