I had a BL w/ BA and it has been FANTASTIC!!! NO PAIN and after only 1 week I feel almost 85% back to normal! I would recommend this to anyone and everyone!!!!
I'm going to back track to give you all some information. I had my procedure on 5/17. I'm a 38 mother of 2, 5'8 and 190 lbs. I normally wear a 38 C fully padded bra and wanted the same look but without the bra! It was so hard to wear a swimsuit or a low cut blouse if someone could see the gap in my bra or the sageness and no volume breast! I had extremely large areolas which also was not a confidence boost :)
After meeting with Dr. Cooper we decided on a Natrelle Mod Profile silicone implant behind the muscle. My left breast was 200 grams larger than my right breast so we decided to remove tissue from this breast and use a 457 implant on the left and a 533 implant on the right. Due to my hectic travel and work schedule we decided to do the procedure the following week! No time like the present!! Ha!
The morning of my procedure I was the first surgery that morning so I was ready. After waking the recovery room I felt fine. I was so concerned I was going to wake up and think "OMG why did I do this to myself..the pain is unbearable!" JUST THE OPPOSITE! I felt fine. My only complaint was my throat was sore and it felt like someone smashed my toe..LOL!(My girlfriend is a nurse and said they were probably leaning on it or something and never noticed..hehehe)
I was drinking and eating ice chips with no problems. I got dressed and was on my way in no time. What I did learn is that while I was in surgery Dr Cooper preformed the lift and when sewing up my left breast with the implant, the nipple was not responding. She had to open the breast back up and remove the larger implant replacing it with a 397 cc. Due to the extra work on that breast I had to have a drain which is my only complaint about this whole process! But it had to be done due to the extensive work she did on the left breast.
When I got in the car, I took my first pain pill, percocet 7.5 and a phenagren (although I was not nausea I thought it would help me relax more). We had a 1 hour ride home and I was fine, closing my eyes listening to the radio. When I returned home, I changed into to some pj shorts, and took a nap. I was up a few hours later talking to friends and my kids who came to visit me in my room. I stayed on top of my pain meds taking 1 every 4 hours even if the pain was not bad at the 4 hour mark. I think this helps significantly!!!! I also took Vitamin C, drank lots of water and ate small meals (cheese, crackers, fruit, fruit bars, etc). For the next 2 days I walked around my house between naps and took it easy. By Saturday night, I went to a neighbors and sat outside watching the kids swim. I took my last pain pill on Saturday night. I started on Tylenol on Sunday morning every 4 hours. I took my first shower at 72 hours and did fine. Also just a note, my PS loves beta dine so I had sticks that I put on my incisions 2 times per day.
Biggest complaint besides the drain? I think I have gained 5 lbs sitting around doing nothing!!! I received a cookie bouquet and edible chocolate bouquet which has been put to good use while I catch up on Bravo TV...:)

5/22 was my 1st Post op with PS. She said it looks good just bad bruising. She said the nipples will flatten (One is puffy looking and the other is dark red but not as puffy) and the color with return to normal. The nipple that had issues is very dark but it does blanche when pressed. She says its bruising. The drain is gone..WHOO HOOO!!!!! I'm driving and doing most of my daily chores outside of lifting things above my head, carrying anything heavy etc. I will have my sutures removed next Tuesday. She also gave me a strap to wear because my implants are still pretty high. In fact the right is very high and still visible around the armpit.

I will continue to take pics and post as I move through this exciting time!!! I'm excited to wake up every morning to check for any changes...Love it!

I'm glad you're so happy with your process. It sounds like you have a great attitude. You were smart to take your pain pills at regular intervals. So many people get into trouble by waiting until the pain is too bad and then have to play catch up for a while.

Thanks for sharing your story! Looking forward to seeing how you heal.

Don't you just love the new girls?!? You look great! I had mine done on April 3. It sounds like your healing process so far has been phenomenal! I wish mine was like yours. I'm 7 weeks now and still have some pain in my sides. My numbness is almost completely gone just a little in my right nipple. I am very happy I made this decsion it was totally worth it! I can't wait to hear about your healing journey!

You look fab - congrats! Those are gonna be some great tatas. The top part of the boobs will slowly 'shrink' - that big part up there is the pec muscle contracting (it is not the implant). Keep us updated as you heal

You're lucky Cooper did a good job on you. She destroyed my lower face because she didn't know what she was doing. 6 years later, it costs me a fortune to constantly get fillers along my jawline. Happy that you like your results.
