Post-Op Pics
I’m happy with my post-op results! I initially thought they may have been too big but I like the big boobs. They are full and sexy in and out of clothes. Here are some of my photos from 2 weeks - 2 years post-op.
Breast Implant Illness
I’ve been suffering from a vast array of symptoms that I thought were unrelated for at least 5 years now. I was diagnosed with two autoimmune diseases (Raynaud’s and Sjogren’s) the year after my surgery. About 2 years ago, I heard this could be linked to breast implants. I’ve recently read about breast implant illness and discovered that many of my symptoms are likely related to my breast augmentation.
My symptoms developed slowly over time, beginning with night sweats a month post-op and numbness and tingling of fingertips triggered by cold weather a few months later. 1.5 - 2 years post-op I developed cramps and joint pain in hands and feet, worsening Raynaud’s now triggered by touching cold objects, finger neuropathy, difficulty swallowing at times, cotton mouth, and dry eyes. Since then I’ve had sporadic shooting pains in different locations, worsening Raynaud’s now triggered by A/C environment (which is everywhere), worsening Sjogrens now including nose & lips, joint pain in hips, neck & shoulder, pins & needles sensation in feet, palpitations, lightheadedness, dizziness, fatigue, and GERD (probably unrelated). For full transparency, I tested positive for Covid-19 on 12/28/21, and fatigue worsened. New symptoms since then include anxiety and trouble sleeping, but this started 6 mo’s following Covid infection.
I was shocked to see so many of my symptoms listed in the breast implant illness articles. I’m considering having my implants removed because I fear the symptoms would get worse and become irreversible. This makes me sad but I have to prioritize my health. Also, just an update, nipple sensation never improved from my last post. That also makes me sad.

A Year & A Half Later
10/5/17
Now that everything is fully healed, here are the updates. NIPPLE SENSATION GONE :-( I have about 25% sensation in my left nipple compared to my pre-op sensation (which played a major role in my libido) and the sensation in my right nipple is even less (maybe 10% on a good day.) I cannot lie, it has made me question whether or not it was worth it. As far as the final look, I’m still satisfied. They looked more like cousins than twins prior to the surgery, so they’re still not identical after the augmentation. The left breast has more fullness than the right (which can be seen in the pics). They still feel soft and natural, and I haven’t had any other problems.
