How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Bad 5 year post op
Nose does not look good. People are commenting on it.
Omg I wrote a very long review and real self deleted it. I am too lazy to rewrite another one. Basically my nose looks like shit, its changing and friends coworkers and strangers are commenting on it.
Nose is changing and people are noticing.
I hesitate to write this because I quite like Dr. Yap as a person. However I wish I could go back in time and stop myself from getting a rhinoplasty.
I was listening to a rhinoplasty podcast and the Dr. there said there are 2 types of rhinoplasty surgeons: those who make flatter noses taller and skinnier and those who make big noses smaller. Dr. Yap is very much the first; and I think he's quite good at that. This is no surprise because as a doctor in the Philippines flat noses are going to be the primary case type. Unfortunately I already had a tall big nose and I wanted it reduced.
My nose causes me more anxiety than it did before I got my rhinoplasty. I get negative comments about my nose all the time. My dentist asked me what happened to my nose. I was getting a pedicure and the nail tech asked where I got my nose job; it wasn't said in a complimentary tone. People on dating apps have laughed and said "Look at your nose!." People at bars comment on it all the time. It's a nightmare!
It is skinnier which was an improvement but in order to smooth the bump Dr. Yap raised the rest of my nose to match it. It is unnaturally high now. I originally wanted my bump smoothed down but he said it wasn't possible. The tip of my nose is so bulbous. Now I am looking at having to do a $20k revision. I am not picky I just hate getting all the comments!

Provider Review
The only concern I have with Dr. Yapjuangco is his lack of communication. It seems like he just copy and pastes answers. I asked him a few specific questions and he didn't answer them. Hopefully when I do my real consultation he will be more detailed with me.
