People were always telling me I looked tired, even...
People were always telling me I looked tired, even when I wasn't. Then when I was genuinely tired my under eye bags would be even worse. I shied away from having my photo taken at any family/social occasion because I hated the way they looked, and would wear sunglasses at every opportunity.
I was of course nervous about having the operation but was told I wouldn't have pain afterwards and I certainly didn't. I didn't even suffer any mild discomfort. 5 days after surgery my stitches were removed and two weeks later my bruising had all but disappeared. I had some minimal swelling which would come and go, but was told that its part of the healing procedure and would eventually subside which it has done. All in all I would say that its the best decision I have ever made, I am amazed by the results, and although I didn't have the op to make me look younger, I have to say that I do! My eyes are so much brighter and people who don't know that I have had the operation tell me how amazing I am looking.
