I had my consultation and follow up until the operation with Nu Cosmetic Clinic. They're a great company and I found they were much more caring and bothered than MYA, so I'm so happy with my decision. They sometimes needed chasing to ensure everything was okay as they don't like to pest you, but I felt very informed before my augmentation. I am one day post op and I have to say, I am so happy. The staff at Bridgewater hospital in Manchester made the whole process so easy and I was in minimal pain throughout the day. As somebody with a fear of needles and anethestic, I can honestly say I was in no pain at all and didn't even feel the cannula go in! They helped me so much and really listened to my concerned, they even used the smallest needle they had.
In terms of how I feel after the anaesthetic wore off, my chest does hurt quite a lot. It's more of a muscular ache than a pain itself, and it's quite difficult to get out of bed and move around! But I'm on Co-Cododomol and taking things slow, so in the next few days things should improve.
Dr Gabriele Borghini was absolutely amazing. Came and checked on me before and after the op, and even kept me in a little bit longer as one of my drains we're going abit mental so he wanted to ensure I was okay. He's a lovely man who gets the job done and doesn't mess about, I felt in very safe hands with him and felt I could chat to him easily.
I was quite nervous about the drain removal but honestly it was the easiest part of the day, it doesn't hurt, it sort of squeaks over your implant when they pull it out and feels like a tugging sensation. My left breast (the one that had a lot of draining) had the drain cable pushed quite far up so that one did bite abit when it was removed, but wasn't a big deal at all.
I can't really see much of my boobs yet as I'm really strapped up (like a mummy!!) and have my Macom bra on and also a breast strap. It feels really tight and I still have numbness in both of them, but when I had a look down after surgery, I was really happy with the size. 360cc could of taken me to a C or a D, and I'm glad to say they're quite modest and on more of the C cup side. One thing I will say is that they look really natural and look exactly like my pre-op boobs just a hell of a lot bigger ! Will post post-op photos in the next week so you can all see!

What's helping me deal with the pain!
Just a tip, I've found that a microwaveable 'wheat bag' is amazing when put in the freezer. Stays cold for ages and is great when applied to somewhere that is swollen. I'm currently having some bother with my left breast and it's helped so much!
