Mr. Murphy was professional, friendly and put me at ease from the moment I met him at the initial consultation. This consultation consisted of him taking pictures of my previous nose and using 3D imaging to give me an idea of what he was able to do, unlike other surgeons I had seen, he made me feel unbelievably comfortable and had an honest answer to all of my questions. Two weeks before the surgery I met with Mr.Murphy to discuss the day of surgery and he reassured me yet again that he was 100% confident with his plan and how the surgery was going to go. On the day of surgery I met with one of Mr.Murphy's team who took my food orders (all of the food was restaurant standard). A nurse also gave me numbing cream for my hand as I was anxious about the needle in my hand. My surgery was at 9:30 and so I was escorted to the operating room by a nurse. The anesthetist did his thing and I woke up about 2 hours later laughing?! Once I had come round I had my lunch and rested all day watching tv, eating, falling asleep and waking back up again. I was able to go home the following morning. For the next three days I was sofa bound but still no pain, just tired and bored! By the 5 day mark I felt back to normal and was out shopping (although getting some funny looks from my black eyes and nose cast). One week after surgery I went to Mr. Murphy's nurse who was lovely and she took my cast off, again with no pain, and I got to see my nose for the first time. It was very swollen but I loved it. It is now 3 weeks after that, the swelling has gone down considerably but Mr.Murphy advised me that it will continue to change for the next year. I absolutely LOVE the result, it has completely changed the way I see myself. I couldn't recommend Mr.Murphy and his team enough, everyone I came into contact with was so friendly. So many people have asked me who my surgeon was and are amazed at the outcome, some even saying they want a nose job now - oops. If there is anyone you should trust to perfect your face it is Mr.Murphy. Amazed.
