54 Year Old with Excessive (To Me) Eyelid Skin

I'd never thought about having surgery but over the last 6 months I had really noticed how saggy my eyelids had become, I'd also noticed that when I got home from work I had mascara on my eyelids - this finally made my mind up to have surgery.
I had 2 consultations where everything was clearly explained to me, the process, the surgery, the aftercare.
I had chosen to have a local anaesthetic as I prefer not to stay in hospital, was I a little anxious, yes I was because its the unknown - would I have it done again under local, yes I would. I was made to feel very relaxed in theatre and was told what was happening every step of the way.
The care I have received has been excellent from start to finish.
I love my eyes, I can't believe how much brighter my face looks, how open my eyes look and I don't have mascara on my lids anymore!
