Any type of surgery is a huge decision and not one to be made lightly, after many consultations with high street cosmetic surgeons such as Transform etc. and chatting to friends the same name kept coming up over and over again, James Murphy at Spire! I couldn't ignore the amazing feedback I was getting from other women so I had to go and see him for a consultation and everything clicked into place from there. He understood exactly what my concerns and issues were and wasn't pushy or financial motivated at all. We put a plan in place there and then and I was booked in for surgery 2 weeks later for a breast implant removal and a bilateral mastopexy (sounds scary doesn’t it, it was a bit). After months of researching I would never had made such a quick decision if I hadn’t felt completely comfortable with James, most other surgeons were trying to push me down the route of having implants put back in but James was confident he could create a really good result working with my own breast tissue. I was extremely nervous on the day but seeing James put my mind at ease and it couldn’t have gone any better. The facilities at the hospital were fantastic and I was extremely well looked after by the whole team at Manchester Plastic Surgery and Spire. I was so excited to be making positive changes to my appearance that I knew would make me feel amazing in the long run and to have a surgeon who was as enthusiastic in the results we had achieved as me was ace! Everything went to plan on the day and 4 weeks on and my scars are barely there (this was the bit I was really worried about), James and the team have an aftercare plan in place for me and I am being reviewed throughout the whole process. I can only wax lyrical about the surgery I have had done and I hope this review helps other women make the right decision in choosing the right surgeon because I found an amazing one in James.
