2 years after the operation; best decision I made!

No problems at all. Best decision I made. I was told originally 14 years ago, the implants were under the muscle; they weren’t. They were over, when removed. I didn’t get an uplift, pleased I decided against it because, I definitely didn’t need one.

Yes. I was 18 when I got them.

Hi! Did you have yours removed under local anesthesia? And did you need drains?
User Avatar

No I was put to sleep because I thought they were under the muscle. Only to discover they weren't. I didn't need drains.

I’m feeling sensitive. I’m super delighted with the results. There’s just a lot of healing still taking place. I look at them and I feel like they are still as big. I don’t feel like they’re small by any means. I think there’s still swelling as I don’t feel lighter.. like they have downsized. I guess a few more weeks. This process really is a teacher. I couldn’t of done it with out you women ????????????

Thanks I'm so grateful that they are recovering well :)
March 12, 2018
Are you still wearing compression bras?
User Avatar
March 13, 2018
Yes I've been told to wear it for 6 weeks ...or maybe longer. I think. I'll check with the nurse next week.
March 13, 2018
I was wondering! They told me 3 weeks which is tomorrow. I am calling today to make sure also. I am so glad that no Sedona has developed or no fluid build up at all. Hang in there girl.

It will be three weeks on Saturday for me. I see the nurse the Wednesday afterwards. The compression bra certainly keeps everything protected. When its off I feel so exposed... like my breast will break :)

Your breast look so beautiful! They seem a little bit bigger compared with your last photo update - do you think the same? Do you apply any creme?
User Avatar
March 13, 2018
Thanks. I think they're the same it's more the camera angles maybe adding, as I see some flatness that the camera doesn't show.

So far I've done nothing. As the wounds are healing so I was told to wait. As soon as the scars are healed I'll be applying gel to the scars. I generally use almond oil on the skin. Do you apply anything?
March 13, 2018
Know what you mean, I see flatness when I take a look in the mirror and think: flat as pancakes - but the camera doesn't show! I haven't started using scar care yet. But I've bought panthenol and Bi-Oil, will start to apply it when stitches are removed. Using some lotion on my breast twice a day. Hope that will make them perky (please please).

Bio oil is awesome stuff

They will just give it time :) I also realised the last pictures didn't have any dressings underneath and also hormones e.g moon time can increase the size. I have dermatix silicon scar gel. I was told it's meant to do wonders for new scars :)

You look incredible. I'm getting mine out on 4/19 and I'm getting really really nervous.

It's to be expected. I felt exactly the same. I would just prepare by taking probiotics, eat lots of vit C especially afterwards. After the operation put emphasis on bromine from pineapples which helps healing and lots of protein: nuts, green veggies etc. You will be fine and when it's all over super happy :)

So far so good. I haven’t had to take any pain killers. I’m restricted in lifting my arms but apart from that all is well. It’s just a matter of giving it time. I have concerns that the capsular didn’t get removed, after reading that is for the best to remove it. When discussed with the surgeon he said the capsule was minimal and didn’t need to come out.

Your breast look so beautiful - congrats! Had my explant today and haven't seen my yet. I was told to take painkillers because they have ant-inflammatory effects. Happy further recovery!

Thanks I've been taking Grape seed extract which is really good for the skin and swelling.I've also been taking extra vitamin E. I know it's not good to take before surgery as it can thin the blood but good for afterwards :)

Congrats! You're breasts look great! I'm so happy for you, and I think you'll be relieved to be implant free when you have children and breastfeed. Your breasts will continue to change during that time, mine looked pretty good after breastfeeding my daughter for a year and a half. I got an augmentation done after years of being in the fitness industry because I was so lean, and did it for my partner, which is NOT a good reason, but you live and learn. After 4 years of trying to hide them and work around my implants, I've decided to explant. My capsulectomy is scheduled for April 5th, and I'm so excited to be natural again! I don't want to worry you, but I've been told to get the capsule removed because of the chemicals contained in the capsule and also any biofilm that's accumulated there, is left behind, so it's best to remove it. If you didn't have any major health problems with them in, it probably wasn't impacting you, like it does some women. Just take really good care of yourself, eat whole organic food, take collagen and gelatin for skin and gut healing, and look into doing a heavy metal cleanse. I've also heard emu oil is good to rub directly on the skin.

Thank you. I'll look into the heavy metal cleanse. I really wish I had the capsule removed but the operation is done now. I mentioned it to the surgeon a few times and I was told it didn't need to be removed, but after researching which I wish I had done mire of before, I now discover it's advised to be removed. I go and see the nurse on Monday, I'm going to make an appointment to speak with the surgeon. I also at the time of getting the implants was with a man who favoured larger breast. Its sad to admit that it was all because I wanted to marry up to the page3 women he so readily admired :( Good ridden to men like that :) Thank you for sharing your story.

You look fabulous girl and they look better than mine so far... lol! But of course I am 24 years older you...I could be your mother

Interesting! I've been taking Bromelain and have no pain and no swelling at all (no pain meds). And I've been drinking protein shakes (whey) with homemade sesame or almond milk. Also I've been eating pineapple and papaya since my PS told me it would help to heal up the scars very quickly... I like your breast better without implants! I was concerned about the capsules too but I feel so unbelievable good, cannot imagine I would feel like this if I still had lots of toxins in my system

I haven’t been feeling so good. I think the antibiotics have been really strong though. I was perscibed Flucloxacillin. And I’ll be buying pineapple today. No Papaya in England. It’s good to hear that your recovery is speedy. [RS bleep]

So sorry that you aren't feeling so good! I haven't taken antibiotics... If you feel good enough take walks to provide your cells with oxygen (just in case you don't do it already). I've been walking each day around 30 min. since right after surgery. Hope you'll be better soon!
User Avatar

That makes sense. I was given antibiotics to prevent infection. I have finished them but I know how they cab eat away at the good bacteria. I've been taking probiotics. The weather has been really fierce so I've been in the house. I understand it's more from the lack of nature, fresh air. I go and see the nurse tomorrow. You have really helped. Thank you :)
