6 weeks after surgery
I have not wrote on this for a while i have been so busy last few weeks, i am now 100% recovered and happy with my results. I seen the doctor at 5 and a half weeks after surgery and he was very happy with the results. There was no scarring and symmetrical and he cleared me for everything tampons, exercise and sex. I had oral sex and sex the night after and everything is still working good in that department. Sex was a bit sore but its bound to be after that. I was dreading the appointment because they said no exercise for 6 weeks and as soon as it hit 4 weeks i was back to it hardcore, i couldn't take it no more. I was on the treadmill everyday running fast, doing martial arts and going the gym everyday. as well as being on my feet rushing round all day in work. My body is back looking good and bikini ready and didn't do any damage so was worth it to look good for my holiday in 2 weeks. I do think they say 6/8 weeks for hard activity just for precaution because my results are amazing. So my advice is to anyone reading this who wants to go for it, yes its a lot of money but its so worth it and i now feel comfortable with my self, I'm really happy and it was worth the pain. :)
3 weeks since surgery
So the past week has been fine, I have been in work all week on my feet and i haven't had any pain. I am definitely getting back to normal, i have been doing upper body exercises doing weights and boxing. Because I am not feeling any pain, i keep forgetting and doing things i shouldn't (woops) i jogged around doing a warm up at the beginning of the week. I then thought "wait I'm not allowed to run for 6 weeks" i completely forgot until after it. I felt so guilty, I was scared to look that night in case i damaged the area but luckily nothing happened. I come on my period this week and it felt horrible wearing a pad, i haven't worn one in years, not being able to wear tampons was annoying. I have also been really itchy while the stitches have been dissolving and its really hard not itching. So now its just a waiting game to see full results and to be able to exercise again, which is the main thing that's annoying me. I have my appointment with the surgeon in 2 weeks so hoping i get the all clear to resume everything then:)
10 days after surgery
Started to definitely get back to my self since my post op 2 days ago. The post op went well, she said I'm heeling good but she did say with the discharge that i should of phoned. I had to go out and buy medication because i did have a yeast infection. I really do hope it clears up by Saturday, I'm going to an event and there is a smell that wont go away no matter how much i clean. During the post op she gave it a little clean and wow that hurt, i have been dabbing the area and been really careful to avoid pain and she wiped it up and down a few times and it was really painful. She didn't trim or do anything to my stitches, which i thought she would because i have read people getting that done in their post op but she was in a rush, 2 people was also booked in the same time. I was a bit sore after it but went shopping for an hour and even though i was in pain, it was the first time i left the house since the op and felt great getting out the house again. The two days after i have been more active i went back to class , i just done upper body, hitting pads and a few sit ups and it did start to get a bit much so sat out for the second half. I am starting to sleep better now to, which is great but my main worry is the appearance now the swelling is going down. I'm worried my clitoris is to exposed, it used to be covered by the hood but now when i have a look its not and I'm worried it doesn't look natural. It is still swollen and to early to tell the full results but just hoping it looks natural.
