23 Years Old Labiaplasty and Hood Reduction

I had Labiaplasty and a hood reduction on the 29/10/2017, I'm from the UK and had it with Transform clinic, I had my surgery in Manchester which was only a 35 minute drive away from where I live. My partner drove me there and I kept my surgery between me and him. I would definitely suggest Transform clinic to anyone who is looking for cosmetic surgery, the staff are so lovely, professional ,act like they really care and want the best for you. I don't want to go to into the reasons why I wanted surgery, it was mainly from the embarrassment of the appearance of such a large bulky labia. I was sick of trying to hide it from my partner and it was definitely getting in the way of a normal sexual relationship, always wanting the light off and hiding under the blanket. I wanted this surgery since I was 13 and 10 years later I couldn't be happier I finally done it! It was Dr Ibraham that done my surgery and he had before and after photos and I could tell he had plenty of experience doing this operation, I put my trust in him to do a good job. I got the wedge method done under General anaesthesia , when I first went the toilet after surgery I was happy with the results immediately, looking down and not having a large hanging labia like I was used to was a shock. I'm not going to lie to you there is quite a bit of blood when you first go the toilet and the day after when you dab with a wipe but this is normal. After surgery I was in no pain at all and I was surprised I was expecting to wake up in pain. I'm on day two now and I haven't even had the co-codamol I was given because I feel fine, I am ok when I comes to pain and don't really like taking medication, I am only taking the antibiotics for three days to avoid infection. The main thing that is bothering me now is going the toilet ouch it hurts, pee going on them stiches really burns, I do pour water at the same time but still really hurts and stings for a while after. I am starting to get bored in bed but I'm defiantly taking it easy, I want the quickest recovery possible to resume to my strenuous exercise. Its been hard keeping this from family in the house only so long I can pretend to be unwell in my room. I have 11 days off work which should be plenty of time but just worried about peeing if it will still burn when I'm in work. I have my post op on the 6/11/2017 and hoping everything is fine and on the way to a speedy recovery.

This is just an update since my last post its been 4 days since i had surgery and the last 2 days have been a bit tough. I'm starting to move around a bit more now had my first shower yesterday and was worried about drying afterwards i'm so nervous of knocking my stitches, i dried the best i could without knocking anything. It is still swelled and bruised towards the bottom but swelling has went down quite a bit since the op . The past two days a see through starting to feel a bit down, discharge which is slightly white has been coming out of my vagina (gross) it just comes out of no where not in my underwear but hangs out all stringy and gooey and sticks on there. I have been reading up on it and just hoping its normal and not a yeast infection would be just my luck to get one of them (N) there is no smell to it which is a good sign and hoping the nurse will say its ok on my post op on Monday. After using the bathroom I'm sick of being scared of wiping the area, I'm worried I'm not drying it properly, over cleaning with my wipes and knocking stitches so worried about getting an infection now. The burning while peeing is still happening mainly first thing of a morning or when i get up at night, through the day it sometimes is ok with pouring water over the area. The main thing that is getting me down now is not exercising, for someone that does MMA / runner and exercises near enough every day of the week not being able to go the gym feels really weird but its what i signed up for. I'm hoping to be able to do upper body exercises next week to stop feeling so down and hopefully get told by the nurse i have'n't got a yeast infection which I'm paranoid about.

Omg I am missing exercise so much i new this would be hard for someone like me but i didn't think it would be this difficult. I 100% don't regret my decision to get this done, i have wanted this for 10 years but for someone who is as active as me its driving me crazy and its only day 5! I really don't think i can cope with no running and no MMA for 6 weeks! I'm going to go back to classes next week but just teach and just hit the bag and upper body but will be hard not warming up and kicking, i miss kicking people in the face already lol. Another thing that is bothering me is because I'm not as active the thought of losing abs and muscle, i have a holiday in 2 months and normally when i go away i prepare months before to get a good bikini body but feel like i wont have enough time to prepare. All this is going in my mind, i will be happy not having a bulge in my bikini i suppose and don't have to be paranoid anymore about that which feels good. Lets just say after 6 weeks i will work my a** off!
