I chose Mr Marando because he had performed breast augmentation on 2 of my friends so I had seen his work first hand. He advised that I should visit at least one more surgeon before I made my decision to choose him but as soon as I met him I knew he was the surgeon for me. He is extremely professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. He is interested in you as a person and what you hope to achieve and he encourages you to ask questions and do your own research. There are absolutely no hard sell tactics, he understands that surgery is a big decision and it has to be the right one for you. The whole experience has been pleasurable from the consultations with him and his delightful patient co-ordinator Martina, to my experiences at The Wilmslow Hospital both pre op, on the day of surgery +post op. Every nurse I met spoke so highly of Mr Marando and as a nurse myself I know this is not done lightly! The aftercare from Mr Marando + Martina has been superb, nothing is too much trouble and they are both available to answer questions or concerns. I would 100% recommend Mr Marando for breast surgery and especially if are considering mastopexy....how could you not choose a surgeon who tells you he has never lost a nipple!!
