Dressings removed today!

Dressings off. Scars healing nicely. Best of all my nipples are still in the same place so my boobs weren't being held up by the dressings! They don't look too bad considering. I can shower now but no soaking them. I can massage the skin with oil but not the incisions. The nurse said the implants were intact when they were removed which is a relief. Though worryingly, she said they're unlikely to fluff & increase in volume! I may be able to tone the skin but won't get more volume there. Though not sure if this was correct advice because I've read so many stories on here that they do improve. Either way, they're not as bad as I expected so I'm happy so far!

Photos pre-implant and with implants

I thought I had posted some pictures of how I looked before having implants and how grossly massive I looked with them but they don't seem to be here! So I am going to post them now. Why I had them done in the first place I will never know. They were the size they were previously for a reason - that was that I was perfectly in proportion. On the other hand, after implants, I just looked ridiculous. Looking at these makes me realise I so did the right thing!

One week post explant

One week on (well one week and one day but pics taken yesterday) and I am feeling much better. I still feel a little spaced and tired but think that's possibly down to the drugs. I'm waiting for the constant feeling of tiredness and generally feeling unwell to subside as most people report post explant, but it's not happened for me yet! I've been out this weekend and felt great in my outfit as I felt totally in proportion and was able to wear a long necklace too for the first time in ages! Yesterday though I tried a boob tube top with a soft bandeau bra and that was a no-no as I looked totally flat! My breasts are still concave at the top and I really hope they fill out there! I was feeling happy with the direction of my nipples as they don't appear saggy, but then it has been pointed out that it could be the dressings holding them up! I hope not! Having dressings removed in two days and hoping they don't droop!
