Acne Scars - Tucson, AZ

Hi, my name is Cristina. I had very bad acne all over my forehead, temples, and chin. It started around the time I was in 5th grade. I had to grow up with names like “pizza face” because I could not help but pick on my acne and it would leave my face all red and blotchy. It got so bad that I would not leave the house without at least foundation on because I was so self-conscious about people seeing my acne and making fun of me. I would actually break down and cry if I was not able to wear makeup to school. I suffered with acne up until the summer going into sophomore year. I was fortunate enough to be able to go through laser acne treatment with Maloney Plastic Surgery. I was very nervous about the laser because it was something that I had never experienced before, but the staff at Maloney Plastic Surgery made me feel very comfortable and it was painless! After the first treatment, I could see results immediately. In addition, within a few weeks I saw a total transition in my acne. I had very little acne and very little blotches all over my face. I went through two more treatments after that and now into my sophomore year I have a clear face and very little breakouts due to stress and my period. I can go to school with a clear face and for the most part, I do not even wear makeup. The staff at Maloney Plastic Surgery was probably my favorite part of going through this process because everyone there is so kind and helpful.
