Over 5 years now since transfer.
Take care everybody. Facial fat transfers can be really successful if you find the right doctor for it. Make the research. See you in another year or so.
I don't feel comfort in front of a camera never have but of course you'll get a pic from today!
4 years and still going strong
This year I have something to report also. I did gain some weight recently (about 6 kilos) and I noticed that my face also got fuller when I gained weight. So the fat transfered definitely responded to my weight gain. Nothing dramatic but I could definitely see it and "feel it" with my glasses on.
So I'm still losing no fat at all even after 4 years. Quite the opposite actually.
3 years and 2 months later
I'm back with a short update. This review will have updates from time to time for a long time as I've said before just that the updates are far in between now since there really isn't much to comment on except the longevity of it all. It's been well over 3 years now since I did the fat transfer to my face. And well, I have still not lost one bit of fat since the initial loss for the first ~3 months or so. I'm really happy with it all.
If anyone have any questions feel free to ask them and I'll do my best do answer. I noticed once again I have had lots of PM's that I have not answered. I apologize for this but as I said another time the site gives no notification at all anywhere when you get a private message. So I just keep forgetting about that part of the site.
Be well!
Provider Review
First meeting was a consultation and I described what I wanted and then he gave me his thoughts about what should be done and we agreed. Didn't really take long was a fairly quick meeting. On the day of surgery he came in to the room and started drawing on my face and asked me if I thought it looked right or if I would like to change something. So I gave him my opinion and he drew some extra lines. He looked at my body again and was concerned with the amount of fat available. If it would be enough for cheeks and jaw. He then asked me, "what do you prioritize if we can't get enough fat". I told him the jawline and we agreed and then he left the room telling me other doctors will come right in. I got the impresson of a very good and professional doctor but that might not perhaps speek without reason so to say. He listened to my suggestions and took them in which fellt good.
