Major Weight Loss - Facelift, Neck Lift, Brow Lift, Buccal Fat Removal, Lower Eye Blepharoplasty
WORTH IT
Short version of my review: (longer version written below)
After losing 120 pounds, I knew I had done the work.. I didn’t feel like my face fully reflected that. All i wanted was to bring out the beauty that had already been there. Dr. Sheen made me feel seen and understood from the very beginning.
He’s warm, confident, and truly passionate about what he does. He never rushed me, answered every question, and was honest about what to expect, even when it wasn’t the easiest to hear.
He set realistic expectations about the healing process, which I appreciated so much. Recovery is a process. There are lots of ups and downs, moments of doubt and a lot of requires patience. But there are also moments where you start to see the results come through, and it’s incredibly emotional in the best way.
Trusting him was one of the best decisions I’ve made. If you’re considering this, trust the process and choose a surgeon who truly understands you. For me, that was Dr. Sheen.
I had facelift, neck lift, brow lift, Buccal fat removal, lower eye blepharoplasty and fat injected under the eyes from hollowing I had.
More detailed review of my experience:
I didn’t initially set out to find a surgeon or plan for surgery. After losing over 120 pounds naturally, I was incredibly proud of my progress but I also started noticing changes in my face that I couldn’t quite ignore. I knew I was beautiful, but I felt like the excess skin and some of the fullness underneath it were holding me back from really seeing my features at their best. I wasn’t sure if I was overthinking it or if there was actually something that could be done, so I just wanted an honest, professional opinion.
A trusted person in my life spoke very highly of Dr. Sheen, so I reached out and was able to connect with him directly before even booking a consultation. From the very beginning, he was warm, upbeat, and confident in what he does. He answered all of my questions thoughtfully and never made me feel like I was asking too much.
What really stood out to me was when I sent him photos of my face. He immediately understood what I was seeing and what I was trying to achieve. When I expressed hesitation and fear, which I think is completely normal.. he didn’t dismiss it. Instead, he reassured me in such a genuine way, explaining that this is his passion, that this is what he dedicates himself to, and that he would be there for me every step of the way. That alone gave me a sense of comfort and confidence moving forward.
During my in-person consultation, that same energy carried through. He took his time with me, did a very thorough exam, and never made me feel rushed. More importantly, he created a space where I felt comfortable being completely honest about how I was feeling. I never once felt judged or made to feel like I was being unrealistic. He was understanding, uplifting, and honestly had this excitement about the process, like an artist who just got a fresh canvas to work with. That energy made a huge difference.
We took before photos, talked through everything in detail, and by the end of that appointment, even though I was still nervous, I felt confident enough to move forward and book my surgery.
After my consult, I realized I had even more questions especially as I started doing my own research. Every time I reached out, Dr. Sheen was patient, responsive, and thorough in his answers. He never made me feel like a burden, and he continued to reinforce that sense of confidence and trust I had in him.
The day of surgery, I was definitely nervous, but I felt prepared and in good hands. His team was professional, kind, and made the experience as comfortable as possible.
Recovery has been a journey, and I want to be very honest about that for anyone considering this. It truly is a “trust the process” experience. There are days where you question everything, where swelling fluctuates, where things feel tight or look uneven, and then there are moments where you catch a glimpse of the result through the swelling, and it all makes sense again. It really is a “it gets worse before it gets better” process, and patience is everything.
Between my own research (yes, plenty of TikToks) and asking Dr. Sheen questions post-op, I’ve come to understand how important it is to trust both the process and your surgeon. One thing I really respect about him is that he is honest and transparent, even when it’s not necessarily what you want to hear. He prepares you mentally for the reality of swelling, healing, and timelines, which made a huge difference for me. Nothing felt sugarcoated, and I appreciated that more than anything.
I’m currently almost 2 months post-op after having facelift, neck lift, brow lift, buccal fat removal, lower eye blepharoplasty and fat injected under the eyes from hollowing I had. Even though I’m still healing and still have swelling I’ve already had moments where I see what’s coming and those moments have honestly been emotional in the best way. It’s an incredible feeling to start seeing your outside reflect how you feel inside.
I also remember at the end of my consultation, even though I was nervous and unsure, Dr. Sheen looked at me and essentially told me to trust him, that my results were going to be amazing. The confidence he had in his vision gave me the confidence to take that step forward. I decided to trust him, and I’m truly glad I did.
Overall, I’m very happy with my decision. I still have healing left to do, but I already feel confident that I chose the right surgeon. If you’re considering this, my advice would be to do your research, be honest with yourself, and most importantly be patient. With the right surgeon and the right mindset, the process is absolutely worth it.
