Almost 3wks pics

WORTH IT$22,000
I will be three weeks in two days. Today was my "biggest day out" to date. Took a shower/washed & blow dried my hair and wore make up for the first time in 3 weeks! My daughter had two basketball games today and sitting on the bleachers was tough. I also had dinner with a girlfriend, so I was out and about for the majority of the day. Needless to say, I'm exhausted, swollen and super sore. I have two compression garments, one is a size smaller than the other. I chose to wear the smaller one during the day today since I knew I'd be out a good bit of the day and thought wearing the smaller one may help to decrease the anticipated swelling. Not sure if it worked or not bc My tummy was really swollen and hard tonight when I got home. My belly button is looking a little red and irritated; again, I think bc I was running around today. Eventhough my boobs are still swollen as well, I feel like they are starting to settle into place a bit more. Still have steri strips on my breasts and will keep them on as long as possible. I had some silicone strips on my belly scar, but the directions said take off each day and rinse them. Well, I tried to take them off and they were super sticky and I was concerned that pulling them off each day would pull on my scar. Going to try to get a different brand tomorrow.

Comparison pic

Here is a photo of my markings on surgery day, post surgery and just before the 2 wk mark. The post surg pic was taken in bed, so they are a little flattened.

You look awesome each day you will feel and look better. I just passed my 31 day mark and can't wait for my swelling to go down. Dr says I have at least another 6 weeks of body contouring left.
Thank you! I can't wait to see the final results!
Great comparison! I go in for a consult on Thursday and would be thrilled to have your results! Happy healing!
Thank you! Each day gets better ;)
I know someone that had MM by Dr Michael Orseck and he is wonderful, my friend sister had hers done by him to, I had a TT 4 months ago with another excellent Dr in Greenville Dr Culppeper, I start my exercises two weeks Ago and my belly still sore wen I do abdominals well that was just a little of me. Congrats, enjoy your new body.
Oh, geez! You are 4 mos post op and doing ab work still hurts??? Yikes!!!
Hi it does but I think bc I took care my self to good that my muscles was getting stiff lol and now that I star stretching and working out it hurt, I went to the doctor today and he said is not going to mess nothing up, I ask him about it, any way I feel good.
I'm trying to take it really easy while I'm off. I teach yoga, so I do a lot of stretching/twisting, etc. so I am not going back to teaching until at least 6 wks. I can walk on the treadmill now, but no other exercise. I can't lay flat or stand up straight either yet. Progress...
You are in the perfect business, teaching yoga bc you know your body and your own limiteds on how much you can stretch, me I was scare to pull something out, when you read this site to much all this people have different experiences, some scare me, so I quite reading so much, I was spending 3 or 4 hours reading and I fel that I was going crazy and feeling everybody's pain and looking if my belly bottom was liking lol so I stop. It will take you time to lay flat or stand up straight, it took me like 3 weeks to stand up straight and more then 4 weeks to lay flat, sleeped with pillows behind my back I didn't use reclaimer and my husband help me to get u, I put my arms around his neck and I didn't have to used my belly muscle. Ok sorry I talk to much. you doing good take care
Thanks! Each day gets better ;)

13 days post-op

Approaching the two week post-op mark tomorrow. I realized that I hadn't taken any pics since just after surgery, so here they are! Feeling better each day. Had someone drive me to the grocery store yesterday. It felt good to get out and about, but I was exhausted & wiped when I got home and we weren't gone very long--45 mins max. Pain is more tolerable and taking mainly ibuprofen, but still taking prescription pain meds periodically; usually before bed and first thing in the morning. Some areas of my breasts are beginning to feel less numb and am now beginning to feel sore at the incision sites. I have an appointment in 3 days and hope he takes the steristrips off and that everything underneath is healed. Belly is still really firm and numb, especially under the belly button. It doesn't hurt as bad when I cough, blow my nose or clear my throat anymore.

I'm getting my MM in June! I'm a nervous wreck! But you and I have similar story! I'm doing mine for my 40th bday present to myself!!!! How are you feeling?!
Each day is getting better. At the two week mark today. Still can't stand up straight. Off of pain mess except Ibuprofen.
