35 Yrs Old, 3 Kids FINALLY Getting my Dream - Madison, WI

Hello all! I've been stalking this site for a month! It has given me SO much information! Thank you! I'm a 35yr old mother of 3. Been wanting a tummy tuck for 14 years and finally have a date! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared as heck! Going through all the thoughts one does in making a life changing decision like this. But, i took the plunge and my date is a little over a month away! Even stating that outloud makes me smile (and cringe) I'm very thankful to find a place like this with ppl who have been thru it to help on my journey!
14 yrs ago I gave birth to my first child. I was 20, and let's just say, my body did NOT stretch well w pregnancy! I went from 160 to 224! All in my stomach! The next 2 pregnancies I barely gained 20 lbs. Needless to say, years later, I still look 9mos pregnant. I went to a consult first back in 2007. My kids were so young at the time and financially I was strapped, I decided not to go thru w it. Now they're older and I'm a little more stable. Let's do this!

Yikes! I feel like this is so surreal. I guess it hasn't really "hit" me yet. I can't stop thinking about it, but it doesn't feel like I'm the one that's going to have the surgery. Finally getting the courage to post some before pics. My pre-op appt was pushed back a week. Which I'm OK with. One more week to prepare mentally and physically :) Any suggestions on what helped right before surgery would be greatly appreciated :)

Holy Toledo! I have my Pre-op this Friday! I think its all starting to finally seem "real" to me. I haven't purchased anything for the recovery portion yet.. I still feel like they're going to say I cant do it. Everything has gone so smoothly with the scheduling for this surgery, I think I'm waiting for the ball to drop.
I have my time off for work all approved, kiddos are taken care of, and have the money ready to go! Two weeks to go! Hope the time goes quickly. All this thinking, preparing and emotions. Im tired! :)
