One of the best decisions I ever made. No regrets.
Haven't been on the site for awhile, but I would like to encourage anyone thinking of this procedure, to do it. It will be three years this June, and as I age, I know that if I didn't have this done, my neck would look terrible! I want to age gracefully, and this has helped and will continue to.
Five+ months, not perfect, but much better than before
Hi all, it's been over five months since my (lower) FL surgery. As my swelling under the right side of my chin has subsided somewhat, a vertical band has appeared. I didn't say anything to my doc at my last appt; he just injected me with more steroid in the swollen area. He's so funny, his chin and neck were super swollen cuz he let an intern do Kybella on him. Anyway, I go back in February for BBL (NOT Brazilian Butt Lift, lol) Sciton for my rosacea. I wish my right side looked as perfect as my left side, but DAMN! When I look in the mirror straight-on, seriously, 20 years has melted away from my neck. And for that, I am very very pleased.

I'm officially saying WORTH IT! Just seeing the lower half of my face lose twenty years, how can that not be worth it!!! My swelling is g-r-a-d-u-a-l-l-y going down. Still feel numbness and tightness but I can tell it's still healing and that's normal and good. Dr. Marcus is the man!

I'm glad I chose Dr. Marcus. He's the nicest guy, spends as much time as you need with you, and really wants to give you what you need. He's also very experienced, board certified, teaches and specializes in the face. The surgery wasn't an easy experience, but he and his team were amazing. To finally have a neck and jowls that I don't want to hide anymore, it was definitely worth it.
